Some quick thoughts on "Liberation Day," also known as "Liquidation Day." Obviously, these tariffs are way beyond anything the market expected. I think very little of Trump and the administration

Of course. This type of sheet is happening across the world. Trump is removing the US as the unchallenged western/free leader of the world. Countries are moving on and seeking alternative solutions.

That would fall on the "Department of Education". 🤔

Maybe Trump is on to something there.

If had to guess they forgot today was the deadline and the reporter let them know.

Inflation has gone up in June and July and it's directly due to Trump's economic genius.

The absolute worst people in this entire equation aren't the hucksters or the idiots. It's the ones like we have on this board that know better but refuse to explain it to them.

3% inflation while at the same time hemorrhaging jobs. Not a good combination.

dont bother, it_hurts is too stupid to know she's stupid, let alone grasp what this means.

I do believe the Trump admin admitted that the Big Beautiful Bill would increase the national debt short term. But they believed it would bring down debt longer term. So, this is not some shocking ITYS yet. Now we wait to see if it ever actually helps reduce it or not. Then, you could have something.

Nothing in the bill passed last month has had any impact yet.
