Be less poor and have both

Yeah, I'm not poor but I'm also not rich. I'll stay in the middle where I belong.

Some quick thoughts on "Liberation Day," also known as "Liquidation Day." Obviously, these tariffs are way beyond anything the market expected. I think very little of Trump and the administration

His cult will eat it up for as long as he says it's Bidens fault

Doubtful.

they only know their own reality, not the parents

Meh, while I didn’t have first hand knowledge of my parent’s reality, I sure as hell recognized and appreciated all the sacrifices they made and understood that I was living a life that they didn’t have the privelege of living when they were growing up.
I think the harder part now is that my kids are 1 generation separated from that.  A little harder to have that message hit home.

You’re insulting me

Yes, we're all insulting your knowledge "on economics".

I know this hard for you to comprehend, but I am an American who was born here and have nothing to do with the nation of India.

I don't need or want more money. Your opinion on this matter is useless to me.

Are you implying I get subsidies? Or are you telling me I should try to get subsidies?

I spent a small fortune on my home over the past year, new roof, new flooring on the main floor, new fence, and furniture, appliances and a tap system for the basement.

Was gonna do a new deck and some luxury upgrades for the back yard this year, but it's gonna wait now.

@greenskeeper...come on, use your words little guy.

Go pretend riding on a stationary bike is a real workout and leave me alone

Spinning is just about the best cardio workout available because it's entirely consistent. Outside riding has periods where you can coast -- downhill and flat road. There's constant resistance on an indoor bike.

Don't be mad because your broke arse can't afford a Peloton.

Whatever you say

I am shocked Peloton is still in business after they killed Mr. Big.

They were on the brink of bankruptcy at the end of 2023. We actually bought the stock around $4 last year when they announced a refinancing, rode it to $3, then sold between $7 and $10 at the end of last year. We just bought back in small sub 6. They still aren't growing, but they have cut out a ton of costs and become very profitable. Old management was dumb -- they thought the COVID bounce was sustainable as opposed to simply being a massive pull forward of demand.

Outside of swimming the Peleton is definitely the hardest cardio workout I do. I do feel like a total tool every time I ride it though.

Basketball is the best cardio by a mile IMO. I ride a bike for 20 minutes and I'm bored as F, but I'll run up and down a court for hours.

Even if you suck and don't play a real game, just running around a court shooting a ball and chasing your misses is great cardio lmao.
