You'd never think that the guy on the left is one of the best kickers in the NFL, possibly ever.

And to think we plucked him off of CIncinnati's practice squad when Sturgis got injured.  What a find!

Marvin Lewis made a snide remark to the effect that he wasn't consistent enough on extra points.  He's now a top 5 kicker in the NFL>

Interested to see what he does in Carolina.  If he kills it (highly doubtful) then it will be on the coaches here for not using him properly.  Hard to think he’ll contribute less.

They couldn't even get anything out of Miles sanders so I doubt they get anything out of penny with that sheet team

Can't wait to see Bradberry in this thread

"I can virtually guarantee that I have CTE,'' Kelce wrote on social media. "All the research would suggest I have some degree of it. I think it is entirely reasonable to assume I have some degree of that pathology.''

Reddick is holding out with the Jets because they aren't giving him an extension. Joe Douglas is a fricken moron.

Reddick apparently told Jets that he'd play out the season

Jets place edge rusher Haason Reddick on the reserve/did not report list as he seeks a new contract

FLORHAM PARK, N.J. (AP) — Haason Reddick is officially a training camp holdout.

The New York Jets placed the star defensive end on the reserve/did not report list Thursday, the second day of camp practice for the team.

Reddick, acquired from Philadelphia in the offseason, has been absent while he seeks a new contract. The edge rusher is scheduled to make $14.25 million in base salary in the final year of his deal.

The 29-year-old Reddick was looking for a new contract and was given permission during the offseason by the Eagles to seek a trade. None of Reddick’s salary for this season is guaranteed. He forfeited a $250,000 workout bonus for not attending the Jets’ offseason workouts.

According to the league’s collective bargaining agreement, Reddick would be fined $50,000 for each training camp practice missed during his holdout.

Coach Robert Saleh had no comment on the situation Thursday, but said Wednesday it’s just "the business part of it” before adding: "We have 89 other guys that we have to prepare.”

Saleh acknowledged at the start of camp he wasn’t sure when — or if — Reddick would show up for camp, but insisted it wouldn’t have much of an effect on the pass rusher being able to integrate himself into the defense when he does join the team.

"He’s a veteran,” Saleh said Wednesday. "He’s been with multiple teams. He’s played multiple positions. He’s had success multiple different ways. At this point in his career, I’m sure he knows exactly what he needs to do to prepare himself to play football, so I’m not overly concerned.”

The Jets acquired Reddick, a two-time Pro Bowl edge rusher with 58 career sacks in seven NFL seasons, from the Eagles in March for a conditional third-round pick in 2026. The pick would become a second-rounder if Reddick plays 67.5% of the defensive snaps and gets 10 sacks this season.

With the open roster spot, the Jets signed former Northwestern quarterback Ben Bryant. He also spent time at Cincinnati and Eastern Michigan. Bryant joins Aaron Rodgers, Tyrod Taylor, Andrew Peasley and Jordan Travis in the Jets’ quarterbacks room.

Travis, a fifth-round pick out of Florida State, is still recovering from a leg/ankle injury that ended his college career. He’s currently on New York’s non-football injury/illness list, so the Jets brought in Bryant.

"J.T. is going to need a little bit more time than we were hoping,” Saleh said of Travis on Thursday. "We need a fourth quarterback, so that was really the reasoning on the fourth quarterback.”

Saleh said Travis is "doing a great job” with his rehabilitation, but reiterated that players have different timelines for recovery.

"This was always going to be a long-term project and he’s in every meeting, he’s at all the walkthroughs,” Saleh said. "He’s losing the live reps, obviously, but he’s in good spirits.”

There's no way the Jets can stiff us for the pick if he never plays a snap for them is there?

No, I don't believe so. But it is a conditional pick, so if he doesn't meet the conditions, we get a 3rd instead of a 2nd.
