They have an extremely easy schedule.  We are about to enter a tough stretch.

?? The Commies play the Giants, Eagles play Jags. About the same in difficulty.

Eagles play Cowboys. Commies play Steelers. About the same in difficulty. Could argue Steelers are harder.

Then Eagles play the Commies.

Glad Washington won. I hate the Bears

We play Washington and their rookie qb twice.  If we needed the Bears to beat them to win the division, we didn’t deserve to win it.

Can't believe people on here are afraid of them

Bears fly back on the plane with 3 time outs .... didn't think to call a time out and get d correct set up.maybe talk about do's and don'ts... on top of all the other dumb mistakes that led up to the final death blow... how do these coaches get these jobs ?

How about the play of Fred Johnson against Hendrickson today. Its Johnson. Its Stoutland. It may be Moore keeping the DEs off balance, etc. But thats yet another time a DE at the top of his game is basically shut down even by a back up OT for us.

OL down 2 starters, and Hurts of all people is able to stand in the pocket today to deliver strikes. AND, they have been able to continue to run the ball effectively.

Just watched the replay of that hail mary again... and I saw they had a LB playing spy.   WHY?!   :nonono:.  Just send him on a blitz, forget about 'spying'.

Saw that too. So they had a spy for no reason. 2 defenders covering a WR at the 11 yard line and their guy knocked it up instead of down. As bad as it gets and why it unfolded the way it did

I live in the Chicago area, and I’m sitting next to my stepson, a diehard Bears fan.  It’s, umm, a bit tense

I grew up in Chicago. Lived there for most of my life. I'm loving the loss. I have tons of family and friends that are bears fans. I'm enjoying their misery.

What part?

The "bat it down" stuff isn't necessarily the right play for hail mary's either it's a baseless cliche that somehow has become canon. It is if the ball reaches the end zone. But when it doesn't reach the end zone, try to catch it. If the offense somehow catches it over you, clock runs out and it's game over. In fact, when it isn't in the end zone, the only way you can have a chance is if the ball somehow gets hit up into the air.

What's with the fear about the Washingteam?

Their schedule: Steelers, Cowboys x2, Eagles x2, Giants, Falcons, Saints, Titans.
Eagles schedule: Steelers, Cowboys x2, Washingteam x2, Giants, Jags, Panthers, Ravens, Rams.

Same basic schedule.  The only real difference is: We got the Bucs, Rams and Jags, they got the Bears, Cardinals and Titans.

I'd say that's a pretty close schedule.  If they can handle their business against Washington, then they are fine.   And if they can't, then they don't deserve to win the division anyway, same as last year's collapse.  They didn't deserve to win the division... and they didn't.

We have the 4th easiest schedule remaining.......

Shaking in my boots for that Jags matchup next week. Scary.

We're 5-2.

I sincerely think our two hardest games are at Dallas and at Baltimore. If we can win one of those, I see no reason why 12-5/13-4 isn't a very real possibility.

Giants/Panthers are locks. We should beat the Jags. Our floor is 8 wins.

Yeah they’ve done well considering. I also think jurgens deserves lots of credit.  Replacing kelce was almost impossible but I think he’s done really well after a shakey start

Lamar owns the NFC. I've already mentally given us a loss there. But the rest? You're right we'll probably split with the girls but maybe not because they really do suck this year.

Their schedule is unquestionably easier.

Rams could be a good game. Both teams appear to be hitting their stride at the same time. Rams have a balanced attack with 2 top WRs, and a run game, and a QB who can get the ball out quick. Thatll be tough.

Eagles have the Ravens remaining as well as the Steelers as well.  Also habe to travel to LA to play the Rams who are getting healthy again.

Not to buy into the hype, but don’t undersell @Washington.

I do think Dallas and Washington may have switched positions from our perspective.  Washington has been a bad team that played even the best version of the Eagles very tough.  That’s probably what Dallas will be for us this year.

And Dallas has been a good team that we’ve treaded water against.  That might be Washington this year.

Baltimore…they could beat us, sure.  The wrong version of these Eagles could lose to anyone.  But they are overrated.  I think we got a better version of the Bengals today than anything Baltimore can muster up.  Burrow came into this game absolutely dealing.  They absorbed it, cooled it, and surpassed it.

The hardest part of this schedule will be avoiding getting dragged down into sloppy .500 football in the 4 non Giant division games.  That could easily be 2-2.

dallas sucks

I think that’s why getting the W was so important today. If they can now split with Dallas and Washington and beat NY again plus do the job against Carolina there’s 10 wins. That should be enough for the playoffs. Now with the level of performance today we should really be aiming higher.

We play them twice. We have an easy schedule and own our own destiny. Grow a pair.

Easy vs easier schedules favors the better team.  If we can’t win the division simply because they win the battle of easy schedules, then it wasn’t meant to be.

This schedule is a joke compared to the lubeless stretch run they had last year.

Let's go niners. Finish Dallas off

I get the long term fear (or at least concern) that they have gotten rid of a terrible owner/front office.  But this year?  Not really
