There was that one and another where it was a pick 6 if it wasn't a LB. Forgot who the pass was to.

Gainwell, I think.

I think you're referring to the one I was thinking of, and I was incorrect. It was actually to Gainwell in the flat and the LB was right there, it was a dangerous throw.

There were only 3 other incompletions.  One was the overthrow to AJ down the sidelines.  I can't recall the other two.

This game is gonna be ugly (for them)

There was a bad screen to Smith that could've gotten picked too, but he snagged it and immediately got dragged down.

That's what I thought you were talking about initially

We SHOULD end up 12-5, worst case 11-6...but we have seen this team all to recently crap the bed.  Let's keep the momentum going....will say that the games against Washington are probably going to decide which team wins the division.

Assuming no major injuries, I think worst case is 10-7 (5-5), best case is 12-5 (7-3), and most likely is 11-6 (6-4). Will 11-6 win the division? Could go either way.

I just saw that that Washingtons hail Mary was brought to you by a massive uncalled hold at the line.

It's very clear that hail marys are treated like prison rules. They're not calling holding or DPI/OPI you should have to work through it. IMO, this is fine as both teams know this before the play and can adjust accordingly.

The Bears DL and DBs both made mistakes and it's a TD. I think they had TJ Edwards as a spy on that play lol

Comparing schedules with the Commanders.

We both play each other twice, Dallas twice, Giants, and Steelers.

They have the Titans (1-6) and Saints (2-6).  We have the Jags (2-6) and Panthers (1-7).

They have the Falcons (5-3).  We have the Rams (3-4).

The difference seems to be our road game at Baltimore.

Whom they have already played.

I still don't trust the Eagles.

Against the Jags without Thomas/Kirk?

Definitely at least 2 on the same drive

Besides the obvious to  Gainwell, what was the other one that could have been picked off?  I don't recall.

I think people underestimate Davis' value.

Now that the 5-2 is the base defense, he can play NT and dominates the front. If the front 7 can handle the run, the safeties can play deep on run downs and not have to bite on play action.

It's the 3 DL front that has been the big difference the last few games. By controlling the LOS and getting inside pressure, the edges/OLBs can be moved around, drop into coverage etc. without creating huge holes for the opposing run game.

Man, this is just pretty stuff. The thing that stood out about Hurts is that he trusted and used his pocket. He even slid to help protection, and this is without Mailata. His reluctance to stay in the pocket and trust his protection has been one of my biggest gripes with him. If he can continue to do that and progress through his reads, we're lookin at 2022 Hurts again.

Thought Fred Johnson played very well

Everytime I watch a replay of SB 52, I anxiously await at PI call on us on the Hail Mary at the end of the game.

Seven deep on the OL, top pair of WRs, best RB in the conference, playable depth at TE, an expanding scheme, and a talented QB finally showing some comfort in it.

Let's enjoy the ride.

Yup.  This team hasn't earned the trust of the fans to believe that they can handle their business yet.  They need to prove it each week.  They proved it big time Sunday, but each week stands on its own.

He played 22 of 58 defensive snaps.   Some of that is a function of the score in the second half... but he's NOT on the field enough to have warranted the selection he was in Round 1.  IF he can play a role like that, but only plays 1/3 of the snaps, he needs to be paid like that when his contract expires... OR they need to look elsewhere.  Over his career he's NEVER played enough to warrant his draft status, which means he was over drafted.    That's water under the bridge, but his snap counts need to be considered when time comes for a contract extension.  He can't be paid premium money.   They just don't have enough money to warrant that.  So, the key is that the Eagles need to not OVER estimate Davis' value again when contract time comes.  They already have once.  They can't afford to do it again.

Lol
