Another overdrafted athletic yet unaccomplished NCAA QB gets put on the bench in favor of a vet that people had forgotten about.

Weird spot for them. Seems premature given he's only started 10 games in his career. But they need better play out of the QB and checking himself out was such a bad look.

Beyond bad.  I've never heard of such a thing for a QB in the NFL... or NCAA... or even high school.

Jags traded Cam Robinson to the Vikings, so they're clearly in tank mode. Anything less than a blowout Sunday is unacceptable.

At least he could come back into the game.  I seem to remember in the World Cup both Henry and Zidane walking off the field and subbing out because they were tired; pretty sure they were defending champions at the time.

Cam Robinson to the Vikings

Hope Jags are picking up most of that ugly contract

He’s a talented but undisciplined player. He free-lanced at MSU and got ish coaching at Washington. Give him a little time, coaching, and peer pressure. He’ll be fine when he gets comfortable with our patterns, timing, and spacing. He’s run some noticeably sloppy patterns that put him too close to other receivers. That can be rectified. Look how Calcaterra has improved. Same draft class.

PSU.

Guess we get to face Walker Little on Sunday.

Right. Duh! My guys couldn’t cover him.

So much for thinking he could contribute in some way.

He'll be back next week

I've never seen a guy try to sabotage his own career more since Josh Gordon

Reminds me of the Jim Schwartz quote, "you keep doing dumb ass things, pretty soon you're going to be labeled as a dumb ass".

i don’t think he’s gonna get suspended but if he does it’s not a big blow to lions, but when you look at the wide receiving depth chart after St. Brown and Williams, it’s OK it’s not great. Tim Patrick doesn’t look the same after his injuries. Allen Robinson might be Julio from last year with the eagles. Have Laporta that can make up for it. Curious to see if the lions make a move at WR after he got suspended then this news.

Can’t get suspended when you’re already suspended

Baseball players can’t return to the game either.

I feel like soccer should allow 2 players to go back in. 6 total substitutions in a game.

You can say soccer blows but the games are over in two hours. 3+ hours for any sporting event is too long but these sports make too much off commercials.

No… He needs a lot more than that.  The QB that leads a franchise needs to have certain abilities that are not questioned. They need to have certain intangibles that are rather obvious, but inherently necessary. They need to be leaders. It’s not something that can be taught with just going to a better coach… Not usually anyway.

Let another team experiment with him…not the Eagles.

I would counter by pointing to Mike Vick.

Sometimes players need to be in the right situation under the right circumstances to mature.

I think a kid with his type of talent, with our culture, working behind someone like Hurts, could fulfill his potential.

At the end of the day it’s a risk/reward proposition. If they’re just trying to unload him, the risk/reward is worth it.

At least Richardson can catch his breath now…honestly not shocked by this.  His comments gave them an out for what they already wanted to do.

I find it funny that his ‘highlight’ TD from this week is actually a lowlight.

They really should just give Jameis a reality show

Has anyone ever swept a team in a World Series while hitting a home run in each of the 4 games?

Absolutely ridiculous. They need to beat the piss out of that Yankee fan. What the hell was he doing?

He’s not quite Jason Kelce level of national treasure, but since he left TB…I’ve absolutely turned my opinion around on him.  I think him flaming out there really changed him.  He’s absolutely hilarious to boot.

I don't watch a lot of baseball but that fan interference was so deliberate I don't know why they're arguing

Hopefully they lose tonight

Should’ve immediately been removed from the game and filed charges. One guy ripping the glove open and his friend holding betts by the wrist. Unlikely betts gets hurt but there’s potential he does if betts tries aggressively to get out of the guys clutches.

All for mob justice there. If someone did that to Harper at a home game in Philly that person isn’t leaving the game on their feet.
