Can you fill me in here? What did Hayes write?

Used Embiid's son and dead brother as an attempt to criticize him.

Kelce was wrong b/c he's a 35 year old adult.

While it's irritating for a dumb, drunk schmuck to get in your face, Jason should know better, and I'll bet he got an earful from Kyrie.

I would have just looked him in the eye and asked him if he was still a virgin, because he seems so obsessed with my brother's sex life. And I'd have made sure someone was filming that with their phone, b/c whatever the kids responds, he's going to go viral on Facebook and won't show his face for a year.

Kyrie Irving?  I don’t think he’s in a position to give any free advice

Being famous and in the public eye has to be very exhausting and annoying.  But no one adores cameras and the public eye more than Jason Kelce.  What that guy did was classless and he had it coming.  But just because someone has it coming doesn’t mean you can give it to them.  Kelce responded to a classless act with a classless act.

And now because Kelce was an idiot, the guy that had it coming will end up with a nice little chunk of Kelce’s money in some out of court settlement.

Embiid went after Marcus hayes

Embiid has enough energy to push people around, but not enough to dress for games?  What’s he doing in the locker room anyway?

Kyrie Irving is probably on his side

basically wrote the story about embiid where he criticized him and used his dead brother and his son in the article which was really uncalled for.

People these days need to learn that freedom of speech =/= freedom from consequences. Sure you can yell slurs at people all you want, but that doesn't mean people are going to let it slide.

Dude can try and sue all he wants, he'll get $800 for a new phone. Maybe. Be funnier if he gets banned from the stadium

Don't really see an issue with what Kelce did. F around and find out.

If he proceeded to beat the hell out of the guy, okay, I get it. Breaking his phone that he can pay for a million times over and then some? Meh.

I can see some of you wouldn't take a stand for family.

Kelce shouldn’t have reacted like that , being in the public eye so much, but it shows he’s just a guy, with feelings.

hopefully the idiot will think twice about taliing crap about peoples families in future.

you can’t say what you want and not expect consequences

The Jags stink. Their offensive line is banged up and they just traded Cam Robinson. Kirk is out for the season. Davis is hurt. We've been playing extremely well.

Certainly we won't pull an Eagles and play down to our opponent, right?

Fortunately the last two weeks showed this team can blow another team out. It was good they got points on the opening drive last week. Now, let’s see an opening drive TD.

I’m pretty sure you’re right and would not claim otherwise. I also admit that I despise PSU for the whole Sandusky thing. The program that claimed to be so pure was in my mind the worst of all. I acknowledge that the current program bears none of the earmarks of that Paterno holier than thou regime but I still can’t get past it and it colors my judgment. It’s like an original sin. The last few years I’ve limited myself to the occasional cheap shot at Franklin who’s a great recruiter but a terrible coach but I think I’ll stop that going forward. From here on out I’ll be PSU neutral unless they’re playing Michigan.

Nah.  Don't worry about it.  You are exactly right about Franklin.  Great recruiter, terrible coach... which is why they get as far as they do with him.   They have enough talent to win on talent alone against a lot of teams, but can't overcome poor coaching when matched up against equal or better talent.

As for the Sandusky thing... you are also correct about that.  It was the worst scandal in NCAA football history.  It's as bad or worse than what happened with the gymnasts a while back.   So, I get the hatred.  It's justified at those individuals.  But those individuals, as you say, are no longer associated with the school or program.  And as I see it, institutions aren't to blame, only the individuals within the institutions.  Beaver Stadium bears no guilt, for example.  But the president, head coach, Sandusky himself and anyone else culpable absolutely does and the punishments are fitting.

The kid didn’t sound drunk actually. I find it funny that people continue to make excuses for the kid like what he did was fine and Kelce was way out of line. The response was warranted. He didn’t lay hands on the kid and the kid learned a valuable lesson today. What we say could potentially have consequences

Both can be wrong.  Yes, what one says has consequences.  Equally, how one reacts also has consequences.

In a given situation BOTH parties can be in the wrong.

He should get the money for the phone.... and he should be banned from the stadium.

The little ass was going for his moment and he got it...might not have enjoyed that outcome for his moment but tough crap... I don't think he'll even try to get the money for his phone because then everyone will know who he is..then he will NOT be just that guy but he will become the social media ass....

I’m a firm believer in the freedom of speech but when you cross a certain line you should expect to deal with the consequences of your words, all Kelce should have to do is replace his phone.

If there is a settlement, then the American legal system is broken.

Did ESPN axe College Football Final? Used to be on the entirety of Sunday morning, now I can't find it at all. Been this way for 2 weeks.

Nice chunk of money?

Probably about $500 to $1,000 to replace his phone.  What more does the kid deserve?

"I'm suing Jason Kelce for $2 million dollars because he broke my phone.  Thus I won't be able to check my Facebook and Instagram for the next week.  This is going to cause severe depression and anxiety as a result."

For a broken phone? Doubt he gets more than $10k-$20k at best. Chump change for Kelce and the kid would have to out himself in the process thereby risking social and professional ramifications.

Speaking of legal ramifications, did y'all see where that Ravens fan who proudly assaulted (on camera) two random Washington fans on the street after the end of their game is looking at DECADES in prison?

Zeke a heathy scratch for disciplinary reasons.

Cool.  Something to distract them all next week.  What a mess.

I read he was told he is going to be a healthy scratch.  He responded to that news by saying something ripe, then they told him he wouldn't travel with the team to discipline him for his ripeness.
