I’m ready to see Sydney Brown over CJGJ. CJGJ looks slow in coverage and is usually a step and a half behind on most plays. I’d trade him by the deadline if possible, because I don’t think you can bench him without him being a distraction.

Who had Ben VanSumeren having a catch before either DeVonta or AJ Brown?

He single handedly let the Jags move down the field. Like clockwork, almost every completion in the 2nd half had #8 trailing behind the WR/TE.

We are currently 6-point favorites at Dallas this Sunday.

Turnovers and scoring plays, and they came back to say it was "confirmed'... so it was reviewed, and not only did they get it wrong, they got it REALLY wrong with a stupid defense for why he wasn't "down by contact".

The replay booth went down…I’m sure that’s the reason.

I need to see it again, but I thought CJ was actually pretty good yesterday.

Philly special? Desean walk off punt return?

I also remember Brent Celek hurdling Ed Reed in 2012

To clarify, when I said individual play, I meant an incredible effort by an individual player. Philly Special was a cool play call in a huge spot, but not some incredible display of talent and ability. DJax’s walkoff punt return was definitely a cool play, but we will never see a more ridiculous set of moves by a player than what Barkley did yesterday. That Smith catch was the highest level of skill, talent, spatial awareness. Just an unbelievable play.

Neither here nor there, but I think the Barkley Super Mario jump and Devonta Smith one-hander were the two coolest individual plays I’ve seen in my Eagles fandom. Ok, maybe two of the top three. Not sure anything will ever top Randall ducking under Bruce Smith and throwing a 95-yard TD.

Dotson's catch was pretty impressive as well

Irving Fryar had an amazing, Odell like catch at midfield (I believe against the Giants) that goes completely unremembered.  I was a little kid watching it…must have been around ‘97.

I don’t think it tops any lists, but as an isolated single play feat ignoring situation, it is worth mentioning.

Also…Buckhalter had a pretty incredible airborne TD run reaching around the pylon against I believe the dolphins in about 2003, also absolutely worth mentioning.

Was an incredible catch, great memory

I don't think "Gotta hope for 2-2" is banking on wins, lol

I’m not trying to suggest it is… But going in to Dallas without AJ? I’d say that’s likely a loss. Playing Washington on a short week without AJ? Loss. And playing Baltimore on the road without AJ id say loss.

Without AJ I’d say we are more likely to go 0-4 than we are 4-0 and in fact I’ll go as far to say 0-4 is more likely than 2-2.

Expected to be fine… So I’m guessing he’s more week to week? And we’ve avoided a long term injury.

I would think he has a chance to miss Dallas and maybe the commanders game. Commanders game more cause it’s a Thursday night game. Then again he might have been able to play and the eagles thought up 16-0 against the jags why risk it… which nearly became a disaster

With the trade dealine tomorrow, what position would you like to see addressed if Howie makes a move?

I'd say either a DE or legit RB who can carry the load behind Barkley.

Huff has been a non factor to say the least. Nolan Smith has started to show up but it would nice to have someone else who can get to the QB besides Sweat.

I like Gainwell more than most but he doesn't have the burst.  If they aren't going to incorporate Shipley into the offense, I think they could do better there.

Dallas can't run, and their pass game isn't all that either. The defense is playing well too, so if that keeps up, we win. Expect a heavy dose of the run game on our end.

Twitter docs seem to think it’s a minor MCL sprain and has the potential to play this week, but could be a two-week absence.

AJ Brown is Charmin soft - even with "missing serious injury" he'll likely miss 2-3 games

Hopefully he’ll just miss the Dallas game, which if Dak and/or CD don’t play, we should win handily.
