And that's why you go for 2, moron. Also, missed false start. Shocker

I would love to know what the analytics say about when you score a touchdown to pull within 1 with under a minute left about going for 2 or kicking the extra point. Because I think you go for the extra point then with the new kick off rule hoping they don’t get into FG range and win it anyway. And if you do get the stop then hoping the coin toss goes your way. I just feel better off going for the win with the ball in your own hands and adding pressure to your opponent to have to get into FG range to win.

not talked about enough in this game, is bowles using a timeout with 30 seconds left. If he doesn’t use that timeout and lets the clock run then they could’ve burned more time off and scored the touchdown. Far less time left and went for two and it may have been not enough time left for the chiefs to get into FG range. Then again refs probably call a PI for KC

KC never looks that good in any of their wins.

Lmao

Lurie and Howie want a Super Bowl for their investments. Howie has actually built a great roster on offense, and a good enough one on defense. He absolutely hit on Q and DeJean who are contributing in a major way this year, not typical for Eagles rookies.

They've had a SB window. They've changed coordinators and coaches. They paid big RB money for Barkley. They've extended key players at WR and O line, and of course gave Hurts a huge contract. The team is built to win a championship.

Last season's collapse was an embarrassment. Nick's antics and game management have been on national coverage multiple games this year.

Chip Kelly was fired after 2 back-to-back 10 win seasons and playoff appearances, and after going 6-9 which is technically a losing season but not as bad as 3 or 4 wins. Reid was their winningest coach in history and once he dropped a 4 win season, he was fired. Doug won them a Super Bowl and then made the playoffs the following 2 seasons. In 2018 they won a playoff game then lost by 6 on the road, and had Foles as backup again because of Wentz injury, and Foles didn't recapture the 2017 magic. In 2019, Wentz actually played well with garbage receivers and they made the playoffs, and Wentz once again got hurt after a spear to the back. A 4 win season got Doug fired (plus not wanting to make the changes the front office wanted).

Going back to Lurie's early years, he fired Kotite and Rhodes. He's not afraid to fire coaches. His model was New England. He wants multiple championships. Making the playoffs isn't good enough, they will build around what they have to make it work but if it's not, they will make the change.

Nick is on the hot seat.

So to sum up, your argument is they haven't fired any coach straight after a winning season, but they will fire Sirianni after 3 straight 10+ win seasons if he loses early in the play offs?  It won't happen, it's not about being afraid to fire coaches, it's about selling the job to the next guy when a .667 4 year regular season record isn't enough to satisfy the front office.

The HC coach's success is fool's gold. Outside if the super bowl season, the team has looked like crap more often than not and gotten absolutely thrashed in the first round twice. You fire him and hire Moore. This is a desirable job, the next coach will get to pick their own QB to plug into an offense of superstars with a young promising defensive core

Yeah, it's obviously not sustainable if we have to keep rotating in new OCs every year we're "successful" and have to integrate new offenses because we know Siri doesn't really have one. I can see why they'd keep Siri but I don't see it being successful long term.

Always root for AFC vs. NFC as long as the NFC team is in playoff contention.

Fort Worth Star Telegram article saying fire McCarthy and hire Belichick.  What a way to start election day!  Truly magical.  We get to freely express our democracy while Dallas writers pine for Belichick.  Glorious.

It’s Election Day so this is the best gif i got

That would have been the guy I hoped for for our pass rush

Za’Darius Smith would have been nice

Anyone interested in Harold Landry

If that’s the price for Zadarius smith, Chase young will be dirt cheap. Practically nothing.
