Don't think they'll make a deal. Not a lot of room for playing time for a pass rusher. It would require Howie taking the L on Bryce Huff by barely playing him and he's not going to do that.

And that really wasn't a good one. They need pass rushing help. Our competition is improving. You can't just sit idle when we have a potentially championship caliber team. That Z. Smith deal was not a pricey deal to make at all and he's no Robert Quinn

Meh I think we’re overreacting with the commanders getting old Lattimore. The lions are going to be good no matter what moves they made.

He was never on the roster, so this doesn't even open a spot. But they did burn a return from IR on this bum by placing him on IR at cutdown with a designation to return.

There's no space. He was on IR, they opened his practice window and then released him before putting him on the 53.

Thanks buddy. I wasn't aware and definitely believed my trade was also possible.

Boy do I feel silly

Zach Berman made a good point. After the deadline everyone goes through waivers from now on. They cut Albert O right before the deadline so he doesn't go through waivers. He'll probably be back on the PS.

It was an excellent move by Howie to use one of the return from IR designations on him.

 

 

The pass rush still isn't good enough, but then again I don't think any small addition was going to be the difference anyway. It's something Howie screwed up going back to the offseason. One of the bigger reasons I don't think this team is a Super Bowl team despite their record.
