Exactly. The 2025 Eagles fourth round pick was traded to the Lions for D'Andre Swift. A year later that SAME pick was traded back to the Eagles. So as a result of the two trades a year apart, the Eagles own THEIR OWN fourth round pick. The pick we're getting from the Lions is not Detroit's fourth rounder. It's OURs.

My point was Howie already made multiple trades sending 2025 picks for players. 

Instead of trade deadline moves, consider the Dotson & Pickett trades instead. 

They didn't really have picks to spare.

So that 4th round pick added a 5th and 6th in the 2024 draft plus Swift for a year.
