Wasn’t Johnson at the LOS? I thought he pulled from left to right and was crossing the LOS when he was cut. I could well be wrong.

That particular play he was cut at the goal line on a run by Hurts.

It is so much nicer debating whether or not Hurts is an mvp candidate rather than trying to figure out when is the earliest we can get out of his contract.

Really it's laughable to have either Lamar or Hurts IMO. Should be Henry or Barkley

Great question.   The issue is that by putting the rule in place, big players don't have to 'protect their knees' and so now when it happens, they are more likely to get hurt, because they aren't used to dealing with it.

As opposed to the smaller guy who is now going to get trucked.

Not taking away from Henry or Barkley, but both guys really benefit from playing with Hurts and Lamar.

Although Barkley gets a lot of credit for putting up numbers in an offense where Calcaterra is tasked with blocking anyone other than a cheerleader.

Correct.  They removed the equalizer for the smaller player in favor of 'safety', and the result is that the DBs are making 'business decisions' rather than the OL.

Barkley benefits more from the Oline. He's at 3.9yds before getting touched. Henry is at 3.4yds

This guy must really not have it anymore

Hooters

He asked about good food. I've only been in Hooters a couple times but aside from the wings, calling their food ordinary would be a compliment. The scenery on the other hand

His career has been pretty meh

He's playing on a minimum salary of $1.2mm. I'm guessing someone claims him.

He was a free agent the first 4 weeks of the season and no one was sniffing around him that much.

Once it goes for speed-rushers, it goes fast.

I wouldn't say that. He's not a Garrett or Crosby but he's had a solid career. He averaged 9 sacks per year for his career before this season. He's just shot now, apparently.

Rams opened their practice windows for Jonah Jackson and Steve Avila. Looking ahead a bit, but they are getting much healthier than they ever have been this year. That should be a good game.

Complete a-hole move by the DB.

Look for a fine from the league this week.

Meh.    I disagree.   That was SOP football not that long ago.

been thinking that would be our first real barometer. we still need to play better to beat them. Hurts, and the pass rush. hopefully we are at that level by the time we play them.

Looking past Washington?

Anyone know what color jerseys the Eagles are wearing Sunday? Got my son a couple for his birthday this weekend and wanted to give him one to wear to school tomorrow

Panthers are a weird team. Draft this guy in the 4th, two years later make Miles Sanders one of the higher paid RB's, then next year spend a high second round pick on Brooks, just to give a 4 year extension to the guy you had from the beginning.

It's why they are one of the best teams in football.  Thinking outside the box

If Fred was aiming to take him out I'm OK with it, but he didn't even see him coming. He just dove laterally at his knees.  Crap play.  If Fred was bearing down on him I get it, but that was clearly not the case.
