He doesn’t get the ball out quick because we call slow developing plays, so invariably he checks down, feels pressure, and then it’s a scramble drill.

We need to take away the frequency of his decision making. More plays where it is 1 quick read and either throw or run. He just isn’t good at going through progressions.

This feels like the lions are gonna win this game in some improbable fashion because the Texans should’ve put them out of their misery. And they can’t do anything in the second half

For the first time since the Super Bowl season Hurts is playing like a top 5-10 QB again - arguably top 5.

Criticizing Hurts when he’s been easily a top 5-10 NFL QB this season - even top 5 over the last 5 games isn’t the best look bud.  Looks like you’re grasping at straws.

His competition %, QB rating and QBR are all lights out this season.  Then add the rushing stats - he’s arguably been a top 5 NFL QB.
