Derek Barnett doing Derek Barnett things

Nevermind, I thought they were throwing a flag on him for helmet to helmet contact on the QB

Criticizing Hurts when he’s been easily a top 5-10 NFL QB this season - even top 5 over the last 5 games isn’t the best look bud.  Looks like you’re grasping at straws.

His competition %, QB rating and QBR are all lights out this season.  Then add the rushing stats - he’s arguably been a top 5 NFL QB.

I totally agree.  Hurts helps us win football games.

But he is prone to turning the ball over and looks lost/clumsy at times in the pocket.  Those traits could lose us football games.  Playoff games.

It is fair to point out these flaws, as long as you acknowledge how well he is doing otherwise.

Texans really need a score here

Today was the first day he had a turnover over the past 5 games - likely due to the fact he couldn’t see the field for almost half the game.

Regardless, he’s easily been between 5-10, arguably top 5 QB this season as a whole.

Every QB has flaws, makes mistakes etc - even Mahomes has been up and down this season - but at the end of the day, he wins games just like Hurts is now winning us games.

He’s 20th in passing. As an offense we are bottom half of the league in passing. He’s not a top 5 qb. Hardly close to it

He can run a qb sneak. Congrats.

In yards passing.  SMH

Top 10 in completion %, Rating, QBR.

(likely even higher than that after todays game)

Then add the rushing stats - he’s easily top 5-10

Name 10 NFL Qb’s that are having a better season than Hurts.

Texans are going to throw this game away 100%

The best part is his teammates looking at him like, "WTH are you doing?”

Kick the field goal cause even if you miss the Texans can’t do anything Offensively

There’s 7 qbs ahead of hurts QB rating, there’s 6 with a better completion %.  There’s 20 with more completions in general. 19 with more yards. 18 more yds/game.. he’s middle of the road in general making 50 mil per year. We can do the same with a diff guy for far cheaper

When was the last time a Qb had 5 ints and won a game?

You can’t ignore his rushing stats and rushing TD’s.  Just stop.

Jesus he destroyed that midget

I’m not. He’s a rb playing qb. He’s a poor mans mcnabb. Mcnabb in this offense would’ve won multiple titles. Easy

Sure.  A RB who is top 10 in completion %, Rating and QBR.

We actually have a great RB on this team and his name is not Hurts.

i don’t know what the stroud is looking at. Two defenders there. He’s lucky it wasn’t picked.

Gotta give it to him - he got right back up after getting blasted like that - pretty impressive, tbh

That's it. He shanked the hell out of that.

This feels like the lions are gonna win this game in some improbable fashion because the Texans should’ve put them out of their misery. And they can’t do anything in the second half

Yup
