Yup.   Which was the entire point of the 3rd down play call.  Make it an 'easier' kick at 45 yards.   No excuse.   Elliott just pulled it.

That's what this team does under Nick. Just like last year vs teams that are bad in one area he does the opposite

Not having him kickoff is a big deal IMO. By not having him kickoff and their increased tendency to go for it on 4th down, Jake is down at least 6 kicks per game. He's cold. He's not a part of the game anymore. It's a mistake having Mann kickoff. All he does is kick it through the endzone. Have Jake do that. Keeping a kickers leg warm is pretty important and those kickoffs go a long way in doing that.
