Yep.  In fairness to Hurts, this is his first game - and the offense’s first game - in a much more complex offense.

Everything tonight reminded me of 2023 honestly. You could replace this game with any of the first 10 wins last year and it would be identical besides Barkley.

It's fine, if he stays healthy he'll play for a long time. Similar to Anquan Boldin he's a super technician, he's just fastish rather than strong.

He also gave away 3 points with that last INT.   So... yeah.  He hasn't played well.  He's played quite uneven.  Lots of boneheaded moments.  Those are the things that bother me more than anything else.   Decision making should be better for him at this point in his career.

This is not a complex offense. Kellen Moore is one of the friendliest QB offenses out there.

He’s a precision wr who has at least some degree of separation every time he makes his break.  Always in the right spot.  And even excels with contested catches with those long arms.

I think he’d be a highly, highly voluminous wr with a more precise qb.  To the point of being one of, if not THE guy with the most receiving yards in the nfl over a 3-4 year span.
