That’s arguing both sides out of your mouth. If Moore has to use a lot of last years staples then it’s not complex

Wrong.   That’s exactly what I’ve been saying - they need to learn the new offense before it becomes "easy” for them.   They’ve managed to score 34 points  in the process of learning the new offense.

Tough fought victory against one of the best teams in the NFL. Nice way to start the season.

Baun, Mitchell, Dean, Carter looked good tonight. Defense was garbage, but the field was crappy. I'm willing to see.

Hurts sucks though. 34 points with brain dead QB play. Kellen Moore looks promising so far.

1-0, onto Kirk.

Hurts sucks. Defense and the rest of the offense may be good enough to carry him through a season. Im encouraged by this D on a different field.

Baun jersey in the Amazon que

So for those of us who didn't get to watch. Would playing in the pre-season help this team at all?

Messy AF but with no reps in preseason I guess it’s not shocking.

Great to get the W. 🦅

You forgot the 6 points in 2 redzone tries to start the game. The defense wasn't that bad. Just gave up some chunk plays

Barkley has been hit in the backfield multiple times this game. You’re over thinking it because of Hurts rage.

It was the correct call both from a conversion perspective and a safety perspective.

No, I’m really not. If it was Jason Kelce out there you would be correct. But it’s not. Jurgens has played very limited time in the NFL center. So doing the tush push when he’s just getting his feet wet at the position at the nfl is asking a lot. It’s why they had issues with it multiple times tonight. I’m much more for it midseason and end of the season and not on a night where it was not nearly as effective as in previous seasons

Yes

Hurts was braindead on two drives, was awesome on 3 other drives, and was ok on the others. He was nails on the last drive to seal the win.

What a roller-coaster performance.

The optimist in me says the Eagles beat a playoff caliber team making awful mistakes, which isn't easy. But they better clean those up(Hurts especially) or we can kiss the SB hopes goodbye. This was not championship caliber QB play tonight.

And I suspect the pass rush will be better on a non slipper field. Or I'd hope so. If not, trade back for Reddick.

People will say a win is a win but that had all types of ugly

Yes, a lot was rust and the field. Both will hopefully improve in 10 days.

Hurts has to clean his ish up - on to Atlanta

I want the tush push removed

great win against a playoff team , too many flags and hurts needs to clean up the turnovers that leaves points on the field and putting the defense in bad field position.

We're also fortunate that GB had a ton of drops and a missed kick.

They seemed better than last season, at the very least

This was a lot like last year, at least early on. Made some stupid plays and still won.

I’ll take it. The offense should be damn good if Hirts stops playing with a screw driver lodged in his cerebral cortex.

Early 2023 called and wants their "did we just win wtf was that” Eagles back.

yeah unfortunately that one is very reminiscent of last years 10-1 start. So many questions to answer. Yet, we got out with a win and we will learn more next week.

Remember the combine he was bombing balls. Had me scared for a second.

I saw him here in Tennessee, he's truly a RB playing QB. He's worse than Tebow

The snap exchanges alone would have made a huge difference.

Without a doubt

No, you absolved Hurts by saying he’s playing in a "much more complex offense” then immediately pivoted to agreeing today was a lot of the staples from last year, which I’ve said from the start. He did not play in a much more complex offense today compared to last year.

We just beat one of the toughest opponent we'll face all year...on a **** field.
