Blankenship actually makes tough plays on the ball. CJGJ benefits from great plays by others.

Rodney McLeod was ok as a starter. Sheldon Brown was ok as a corner. Sometimes being reliable is more important than being flashy. Sure you could theoretically upgrade, but that's true of many players on most teams, and people don't push this narrative with the vast majority of them, but this narrative is common with Blank. Why?

no offense Rodney McLeod was a better player than Reed is right now. I’ll push it. I don’t think CJGJ is that great of a safety. I said it when he left. If you want me to push the narrative about other ones, I’ll go ahead and do it. I have no problem doing it. Frankly, I’ve been saying for years that Maddox shouldn’t be on this team and he shouldnt have gotten the contract that he got due to his issues. I think Jordan Davis is an OK starter. But if that pick was ever gonna work out for the Eagles, he needed to be better than OK. So far he hasn’t. So I would look to upgrade it this off-season if he doesn’t.

The rest of the league will do the same gameplan and cut off the edges so Hurts can't roll out

Adapt or die. He has the weapons

I really don't even think he wants to run

Hurts didn't suck.

He did, though.

The Eagles need to figure out how to fix the RPO going forward or to largely scrap it because Hurts seems to have no feel on when to keep it and take off. He does it at the worst times too. They're drive killers losing 3-4 yards on first down.

I think I only heard Huff's name once and that was to say he hadn't done anything

It’s 6 years too late, but he’s a S.  Not a CB.

Opposite of CJGJ, but the only one with a higher rate of injury. Lol.

I think the new emphasis on where OTs can line up is hurting Lane’s mojo.  He looked off tonight

On a side note I don’t think this game is this close if it had been at the Linc.  Just a guess.

Another big plus: I bought Peacock for the next month and can watch 30 Rock and Brooklyn 99 commercial free. What a time to be alive.

CJGJ is wildly overrated in here and by Howie.

I see Hurts as being ineffective and mistake prone every time he leaves the pocket.  He’s not fast enough to take the corner as a running QB anymore and he lacks the arm to consistently make more good plays than dangerous ones on the run.

He’s very effective as a north south runner (that’s another discussion if we actually WANT that from a QB) and is very effective when stepping up and into throws in the pocket in the select times in his career when he has been smart and comfortable doing so.

IMO, we don’t want him to roll out.  He sucks when he does.  He needs to sit and distribute and if he can’t do that, then someone else needs to.

It's past midnight so you can work on your night cheese as you watch 30 Rock.

Pretty sure Green Bay’s defensive game plan focused on shutting down the RPO after Hurts ran all over them last time they played.

Huff and Smith were ghosts. Not surprising we didn’t hear their names often in camp. We might need to undo the Reddick trade at some point if they don’t step up in coming weeks.

I watched a few episodes- not bad.

Moore called a great game. Every weakness they had last year he rectified. Recognized the faults from last year and did his best to avoid them. No dumb screens, creative and efficient.

He mostly played well, but QBs are judged by their bad plays. He made way too many tonight.

I want to see how they do on an American football surface.  I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t concerned, but they tried to bend around the edge and their feet just flopped out from under them.  I’m not sure if there was anything they could do about that.

You also get some probably awful Kevin Hart movie fwiw, which is absolutely nothing.

Frankly not sure he’s here more than 2 years. I think he’d be more effective if he was here at slot corner then safety.

Our pass-rush wasn't bad. We hit Jordan Love a ton. We just didn't get sacks.

Hey did Huff play?

I was happy to see Monkey Man and Fall Guy available too. $15 well spent.
