Carter with 51 snaps, Davis 35, Williams 28.  DEs all around 30 with Sweat at 41.  I can see Carter getting winded, as for the rest of the Dline wearing down, it is concerning.

I always thought we looked a DT light, after losing Cox who was the workhorse for a decade, Davis and Carter were gassed with their workload with Cox taking 800 snaps, I just don't see how that doesn't happen again with those 800 being shared between the rest of the DT's and an unbroken run of games from week 6 to 18. I think they need to bring someone in.

I'm a Hurts defender in general, but it's entirely fair game to criticize someone who threw two awful, awful, awful INTs. Those weren't great DB plays that you just tip your cap hit.

Instead, I'm going to enjoy a week 1 win over a playoff team that many thought could win the NFC. This isn't beating Atlanta, Detroit and New England in week 1. This was a legitimate win.

The Packers got an INT on the next play.

Shades of SB Mcnabb.

After long travel.  Excellent win.  Barkley, Baun, and Mitchell have the talent we have been aching for.

Why do people try to bring themselves down from a win because of things that might have happened, but didn't?

I think it boils down to expectations and being able to watch the game as an objective fan. With the money invested in WR, being told how perfect Hurts looked all of TC and the addition of Saquon Barkley, I expected the Eagles to look dominant on the offensive side of the ball. I figured there would be an adjustment period as they didn't play at all in the preseason but what I didn't expect was to see Hurts making the same mistakes and falling in to the same habits that he's made for years. I'm not bringing myself down but I'm questioning, is this what we should expect from Hurts all year or was it just one game? I hope it was one game.

Is that what it is? Hurts did not look much different than last year. That’s concerning especially, when you run into a team like San Fran or Detroit down the road. Said it earlier, not sure why ppl were in love with the pack, they were mostly a .500 team and then won one game in the playoffs.. they nothing special

How many games did we win in the playoffs ?

Yeah ... I never expect perfection. That's a pipe dream. It might be realistic if the other team wasn't trying to win as well.

Or give ojomo more snaps

I didn't expect perfection, but seeing Hurts throw two of the worst INTs he's ever thrown and nearly throwing a 3rd for a pick 6 is a different story. The RPO decisions and the bailing out of the pocket to the right while giving depth are rookie Hurts things. He needs to trust his pocket because when he does, he can be lethal. When he bails, he just looks bad. I hoped by year 5, these habits would be gone by now. None of those things are because the Packers forced him to do so. They are all self inflicted, Jalen Hurts mistakes. Let's hope he fixes them.

More rotation would help the big boys rest a bit.

Hurts also had some beautiful plays too. Very Jekyll and Hyde performance by him. Hopefully we can blame the field and the lack of preseason snaps.

Curious what happens with Devin White now. It’s not like he’s some excellent coverage LB’er and the way Dean and Baun played there really isn’t a reason to put him out there.

Michigan sucks again

The only mistake that concerned me at all was the 2nd INT --- mainly because of the situation and how a FG puts us up by 8. Even with that bad decision, I don't think it would have been an INT if Brown doesn't slip. I don't think it would have been a TD either. I just think with both players fighting for the ball, it ends up incomplete. But the best decision was to throw it away and attempt the FG.

We didn't get the starters on offense any snaps in preseason, and once again, it showed. Nerves, bad field and rust led to several miscues. It's good to win the opener and know what areas need work.

It's not just that. He is horrible at times regarding situational awareness. It is inexcusable after this many years in the league, like last year taking that sack against the 49ers or the other game where he stayed in bounds inside the 5. He did the same kind of crap last night.

Yeah, he is on pace to lead the league in INTs

Oh good, arguing with twitter randoms is what this team was desperately lacking

Don't worry, Mahomes threw an awful INT in his opener too.

Definitely more snaps on passing downs.

5 of 24 kickoffs have been returned so far (one being an awful Gainwell decision). Awesome new rule

I was really excited about it, but it's garbage.

If they really want returns they'll need to move up the starting spot for touchbacks.

Objectively they won the game and are 1-0.

Do I think some of the concerns are valid? Sure but I choose to hope they get cleaned up and win the next game.  Personally I think if you robbed yourself of happiness yesterday and today because of what that might mean in future games then it's your loss.

At least you PSU fans can relax some today😬
