So high school and college kids can kick off normally but the NFL has to go sissy ball route? And if player safety is such a thing what was that subpar Brazil Field all about?

The definition of adding insult to injury is forcing the Packers to trade for Pickett because the dline put Love on a shelf for at least the next few weeks and their backup couldn't even get the ball out on a hail mary.

Depends on the grade. Probably 2-4 weeks unless it’s more severe.

We play Indy at home then @Tennessee. I hope we can win those games in his absence.

It is quite astonishing how well he’s doing so soon. Talent, effort, and Stoutland. He and Dickerson may be the best set of guards in the league and those two and Jurgens are each 25.

I kind of get it with the Jets.  You don’t draft someone that high (at least usually not) with the intention of making them a RG.  When he flopped as a LT, there was baggage on both sides that would have hindered success at RG.  Here, no one cares about that.  A change of scenery is necessary for everyone sometimes.  The whole NFL probably groaned when he signed here though.

I think most of us Packer fans don’t mind the Eagles. They always pound the Vikings, Bears,  Patriots, 49ers and Cowboys.

Yeah the severity matters. If it’s grade 1 it’s likely 1-3 weeks. Grade 2 it’s 4-7 weeks. Grade 3 he’s likely out 8-12 weeks. If it’s a grade 3 their season is likely over. their bye isn’t until week 10. Even a grade 2 it’s going to be hard to get a wild card if he misses 5-6 games.

if he goes on short term IR earliest he could return is Oct. 13 vs. cardinals. Frankly if he goes on IR feels like they believe it’s going to be potentially longer than 4 weeks. If they don’t then they think he’s likely to be back within 3 games. 

Now I think the NFC will be between you guys and the Niners. I thought we had a chance with Love healthy but now we’re in trouble.

Unfortunately I think even if Love comes back this season, he will be severely hampered.

Not to mention the chances of a more severe injury go up coming off a sprain.

Likely best for all parties that he calls it a season.
