He should do it for a 4th in a heartbeat. McKee clearly outplayed Pickett. He's completely redundant here.

I said kind of the same thing. I would ask for some conditions put on it in case Pickett actually plays well. But I’d do a 4th cause if McKee. If the Eagles don’t think McKee is ready then just go sign Ryan Tannehill. You can’t tell me that Kenny Pickett is better than Tannehill. Tannehill might be done but Pickett just sucks

Thats cool. Not sure has anything to do with the lions though

South kind of sucks so I have no idea who will squeak out with the division

I’d say the Rams are too.

The Rams are in a bad spot right now. Because their top four corners are all hurt. And their o-line is also banged up. I think they’re gonna be better as a season goes on when they get healthier. But you got a hope Stafford survives until the line gets healthy and then their defense can turn the corner when Brie secondary starts getting healthy. Frankly think the lions smoke them on SNF. That line was 3 then up to 4.5 with all the injuries.

I agree Detroit will be tough. I think they aren’t as good as last year but they will win 9 games and possibly the division.

It will be interesting for sure. How bout Seattle?

Tbh would you be really shocked if the saints wind up being the worst team in that division? Their oline is not great. Starting a rookie LT and penning at RT hasn’t been all that great since they drafted him. Their LG is Lucas Patrick who was not good last year when he played. Kamara is getting older. Think Carr is overrated and their defense isn’t as good as years past. Carolina was really bad last year but i wouldn’t be surprised if young is decent that they manage to win 5-7 games.

I was very big on that signing from the jump. He was a high first round pick on merit. Ah, those Jets.

It is quite astonishing how well he’s doing so soon. Talent, effort, and Stoutland. He and Dickerson may be the best set of guards in the league and those two and Jurgens are each 25.

I wasn't optimistic, but I was happy with the investment level for a lottery ticket.   Buy low with the chance to win big.   It doesn't always work, but when it does, its an amazing pay off.   Mailata is the perfect example.  Cost practically nothing, and mitigated the failure that they had with drafting Dillard.  That move dramatically changed the landscape of the franchise building plan.  Similar with Becton if he can fill in at RG, and then slide to RT when Johnson hangs them up.   Finding an OG is easier than a special OT.  And that dramatically impacts draft protocol moving forward.

What makes you say that? I honestly expected NFCN and AFCE to be the reason 49ers don't do well this season

Tbh have no clue. New coach. But listening to some national podcasts people seem to love Macdonald and think they have the pieces to be a good defense. Offensively they have good weapons. But oline let a couple starters go and frankly i don’t think they are top half of the league. also it comes down to geno smith and how good or mediocre he’s going to be.

So when you said he was STILL struggling against the blitz, what exactly were you referring to?

If someone was a raging alcoholic and takes a night off from drinking, would they still be an alcoholic or would we say they're suddenly fine?

If Nathan Peterman came out and threw for 350 and 4 TDs, would teams run to sign him to a mega deal?

Lions division was going to be tough if Caleb Williams played well and if the packers didn’t lose love for an extended period of time. Vikings are about the only team i thought that would be bad. Then again i don’t think they are gonna be a 3-4 win team. Likely 6-7.

the lions got a really fortuitous schedule. For a dome team they only have to play 3 games outside. And only 1 in their first 15 weeks.

So the words "still struggling against the blitz" were in reference to last season? Have I got that right?

Becton was having fun out there too. I saw him involved in a few celebrations. Love seeing guys buying into the culture.

Winning helps... a lot.

His first season, he played 14 games... and they only won 2.  The next season, he played in only 1 game (they lost).  Then he missed all of 2022.   And came back to play 16 games in 2023, winning 7.   He's been in the league 4 years and has only been on the field for 9 wins coming to Philly.  That's depressing as a player.   If he can stay healthy, he should easily pass that total this year alone.

So you're being intentionally obtuse. Got it.

Its funny... but there's a significant difference.  Henry is on the down slope right now.  Barkley is still at his peak.  He'll taper off after the next 2 seasons too.

Lol. What is Dean doing?

I don’t disagree with you. Derrick Henry still had some games where he looked like Derrick Henry. But there were some games where he looked like he was running in mud. Some of that I chalk up to the fact the Titans were playing a young quarterback, and their oline was eh. I think Henry likely sticks around the nfl like AP did.

No I just understand the definition of the word still.

I thought it was Reed at first glance but then he came into the frame at the end and I noticed the number on the second watch.

Sprained MCL is about the best possible outcome based on what he saw. I'm shocked nothing is fully torn.

A sprained MCL could still be fully torn.
