They will beat the Niners by double digits tonight and Perdy will have multiple turnovers

I sure hope so.  Based on history I expect them to lose in some comically dramatic fashion. Like Rodgers has a man open in the redzone for the win but the pass hits a pigeon.

Yikes

I loved Reddick as an Eagle, but man is he blowing this for himself.

It's not about the 2nd round pick (as that's gone now). Get paid Haason!

Wasn't expecting it to be so high. I think I usually hear players losing 200k checks when holding out

He's going to lose out on a ton of money if he keeps this up

I was thinking about the importance of the Cowboys/Browns game.  Generally, I have dismissed road AFC games as the least important.  But with the reordering of the tie-breakers, where they made common games more important than conference record, I am rethinking this view.  Came up with a chart ordering importance to align with the tie-breakers.

What an idiot. He won't get the money he thinks he will get in free agency either.

Without Nick Chubb they are dead on the offensive side of the ball.

It's not like they lost Chubb at the end of last season.  He got injured in week 2 last year and the Browns went onto go 11-6 with wins over the Texans, Ravens, 49ers, Jags, Steelers and Rams.

Because Flacco went on a heater.

Flacco played well for them but he only played 5 of their regular season games.

It’s whatever their base salary is divided by 18. If it’s lower for some they probably were on rookie deals.

Thought this was interesting.

I swear to God people can just release fancy graphs about sports based on 'my adjusted score formula', which sounds like science but is basically code for 'Vibes' and 'gut feeling' and get treated as an academic, he says the Bills were better than the score, and their Logo is ahead of the dot, which to me suggests that the graph means the Panthers were miles better than the score suggested, which anyone who watched much of their game will attest is absolute horse pucky, they were godawful, ditto the Giants, the Bengals were no better than the score suggested, their offense was awful and Washington deserved to lose by 17, Tampa Bay kicked their asses. Cleveland's defense deserved better but their offense was a flaming trashpile, they couldn't run or pass, if they'd come up goose egg they couldn't have complained.

He cannot have watched those games honestly and come up with these conclusions sorry

Can we get Reddick back?

Flacco is a guy that has proven a team doesn’t have to have an elite qb to win it all…very good to great defense, a decent running game, good kicker, take care of the rock.

And stay true to your limitations. They pounded the run game over and over and didn't put it all on Flacco..watch the tape Giants FO!

These analytics are for entertainment purposes only.  They mean exactly 0.   People are just picking a methodology out of the air and doing toy math and then presenting it as something when it isn't.  There's never a future evaluation to check it and there really can't be anyway

And Watson only played 6 games... He's pretty bad, if they want to turn things around, I believe he needs to be benched. I doubt they'll do it considering his guaranteed contract.

I hate rooting for Aaron Rodgers, but a Jets W would really help us out. We don't play the 49ers this year, and too early to think about tie-breakers, so they just need to find a way to get to 4-5 losses.

Yeah I'm not at all disputing that he's bad, he is terrible.  Still the Browns went 5-1 with him last season so I'm disputing this notion that people are trying to put forth that the Cowboys going into Cleveland and handedly beating them from start to finish wasn't at all impressive because the Browns are some terrible team.  They were very good last year despite the offensive struggles.  That was a really impressive Dallas performance.

Never really understood the hate or dislike. He was always fun to watch when he wasn't playing against us IMO

People don't dislike Rodgers the player, they dislike him because of his sociopolitical beliefs. If Rodgers wore pride shirts or starred in ads that promoted the vaccine, the media would love him. There is a clear agenda against him though. I remember people got mad at him for the VP rumors which weren't even true, but the take was "God... Aaron just wants attention, this is just another way for him to get back into the news" which is about as big of a projection as it gets. No one knows where those rumors came from, people just made it up that it came from him because they don't like him and just wanted another reason to pile on Rodgers. And I think some of his beliefs on things are out there, but since I'm an adult and not 12 years old, why would I let it affect my opinion on the guy? He seems like a nice dude, the players vouch for him. I'll save my disdain for woman beaters and rapists thank you very much.

As for the game, I wish I'd say I have confidence in the Jets to steal one against them but I don't. I never believed in the Jets. I don't believe in teams that try to artificially boost their chances by adding a 40 year old QB. Maybe it works, but I doubt it. Usually in these instances it's not as easy as just pressing that button and boom you're a contender.

There are very few players I know about their personal lives outside of football. Majority of the time I just don't care about their life outside of football
