Bad field conditions = don't do it though right?

I was annoyed they went to it on the goal line at the end of the game (fumbled snap). It clearly wasn't working as well. I thought they should have given it to Barkley.

It does make sense that the field was an issue for it.

Interesting if he puts this in the back of the endzone it's not really considered a bad decision.  It was a bad throw

When are these Eagles fans ever going to change? First it was snowballs at Santa, then booing Michael Irvin. Worst fans in football.

I think back of the end zone the S comes across and gets the INT.  Hurts doesn't have the arm for that throw; especially not leaving his feet for a fade-away like he did.

When will Nick Chubb return for Browns?

The Browns placed Chubb on the "physically unable to perform" (PUP) list to start the season, meaning he is required to miss at least the first four games. The expectation is he'll need more than the initial four weeks to take the field, though.

We play them week 5

I haven't taken a single medical course at any level so believe me when I say it will be sometime after out game.

My beer gut says the line is week 9

Can he put it in the back of the endzone? It being a bad throw makes it a bad decision because I'm not sure he can.

And this isn't saying "Hurts has a weak arm". In this situation of rolling right, throwing across your body to the left while on the move, there's only a handful of guys that can make that throw. Coaches would probably prefer they don't try, either.

Yep.  I’ll buy the field as an excuse but then why the hell did they run it there.

🤔.  He doesn't have the arm strength to put it there and couldn't even get it to where Brown was.   There are far too many people trying to make this anything other than a terrible decision.

1 - He left a perfectly good pocket.   Step up and deliver the ball to Goedert at the pylon or maybe a couple yards deep into the end zone... easy pitch and catch.  If he steps up and releases it when he chooses to bail the pocket, its an easy TD.

2 - Rather than pointing to AJ (who is already wide open) he needs to unload the ball immediately leading him to the top of the "E", which wouldn't be across his body as much, but rather just straight down the field - an easier throw.

3 - By the time he releases it, he's moved further outside and now he's trying to torque his body around to get the ball to Brown, but doesn't have the arm strength to get it there.  (That type of throw is almost exclusively based on pure arm strength.  And only a few NFL QBs have that type of cannon.  Hurts isn't one of them.)

You know why.

Watson's alleged perversion and deviousness may end up bailing the Browns out if they can void his contract for conduct.

Yeah level of difficulty leads back to bad decision but I at least see what he was going for

Can't let them off the hook there.

It happened before the mega deal though

I'm not sure it matters. The only thing that would matter is if it was part of the settlement, which it isn't. Players can be punished for acts that have yet to come out. As they should. If we find out tomorrow Player X beat someone half to death 5 years ago and there was a big cover up, they should absolutely be reprimanded for it. It's a bad look for the player, bad look for the NFL, bad look for the organization. For yet another case to come out, it makes the NFL's brand and Browns brand look bad.

Pretty damning accusations in there too

He belongs in prison. But the unfortunate reality is rape that far after the fact is incredibly difficult to prove in a criminal court. Which is why all these are civil suits. This is why the victims need to come forward immediately, although I do understand why many don't. It's not necessarily a knock on them as people, but it is true that coming forward as difficult as it is for many reasons, can prevent future victims.

The dude is a deviant.

Rip to a legend

We play the Bucs in 3 weeks (week 4).

I mean that’s some quote there

lolwut? There have been multiple examples of ex-teammates criticizing him over several years. Looong before these political issues you referred to. TJ Lang, Sammy Watkins, Greg Jennings, Jermichael Finley, even Jordan Love recently implied he rubbed some of the younger players the wrong way. So no, a GM of another team is certainly not all we have.

#1.  His fatal flaw.  Pocket was clean.  Step up and throw the ball.  Been going on for years so I doubt this will ever change.  He just has happy feet.
