In understand that the Super Bowl Halftime Show is way beyond me as an audience now, especially since Jay-Z is the one in charge of it, but I'd love to see the NFL post Kendrick Lamar's lyrics and tell us why he's a good choice. I love rap music, mostly pre-2010 and more specifically 90s/00s rap, but I would never expect Wu-Tang to be the halftime show when they were at their peak. I think the goal of the SB Halftime should be to unite and bring people together as well as being a top entertainer, but it appears this one is already being touted as full of hate and division based on Kendrick/Drake beef. Not sure what artists or bands are out there are universally loved. Shoot, I'm 43 and reliving my emo phase as my favorite bands are all touring small venues but I'd never expect bands I like to even sniff the SB.

Now get off my lawn.

I was baffled when looking at the box score. It felt like Carter and Davis were getting good penetration all night, yet GB piled up the rushing yards. Part of it was the field and sloppy tackling. I think the run defense is the biggest question I want answered in week 2.

The All 22 should show us a lot .., specifically where along the LOS the Packers were finding holes to run through.  Not only where this holes were, but also why gap discipline didn’t put the Eagles LBs is the right position to plug those gaps.

As someone who doesn't do fantasy... the reactions I'm seeing are hilarious. I know a lot of people that picked him

The guy I'm playing in the blog league has him and definitely needed him to beat me now it's a loss for him lol.

…? Why would you draft CMC? Is that a serious question?

He had a calf injury all pre season. They don't magically heal up overnight, they linger like a hammy.

You reap what you sow, cry about it more though.

Metallica has been shunned for at least the last decade. Unless they have flat out declined an invitation (which i don't think they'd do considering they've participated in opening ceremonies for baseball games) it's a crime they haven't been asked.

Why would you draft him knowing he had a calf injury.

Depends on when your draft was held

Interesting if he puts this in the back of the endzone it's not really considered a bad decision.  It was a bad throw

that's kind of what I said in real time when they showed the replay, I see why he threw it, but it needed to be either earlier and/or a zing throw (what I said then) or it needed to be a high point back of the endzone throw (what I'm saying now).

Rock also hasn't been popular for a while now.

He injured it on August 6th and if you are holding a draft that early then oh well.

Cry about what? It’s been a crazy start to fantasy season. Was just a comment.

He wore a calf wrap half of last season…off on on.   But yeah, part of the reason I felt I wouldn’t go for him again

TJ Lang was critical of Rodgers comments about players needing to be benched and Watkins comments about two "offenses in one" implied Rodgers butting heads with the coaching staff made it harder for everyone else on the offense to get on the same page. Then there was Finley's comments from years prior questioning his leadership and saying that Rodgers was too self-centered. So I'll say it again since you seem to have missed it: He's been accused of being too arrogant and selfish long before covid or that Lombardo article. The notion that only person who had bad things to say about him was a GM from another team is demonstrably false. It's okay to concede he didn't get along with everyone, as it's not uncommon for QBs of his level to come off as a bit of a diva.

See above.

Ok maybe other players have criticized him but I still think the positive comments about him are much more positive than the negative comments are negative. I’ve heard media people call him a "bad guy.” Deshaun Watson is a bad guy. Aaron Rodgers from everything I’m seeing has no more criticism than the average person. Rubs some people the wrong way, has his flaws, but is not inherently bad.

The biggest criticisms I’ve seen are "he’s selfish” and "he’s a diva” and "he craves attention.” Those to me don’t equal bad guy. The criticisms from the media really exploded after the immunized thing and people used their personal agenda they had against him to take that and run wild with criticisms that were way beyond what seems reasonable.

Not sure what the media has to do with any of this. Your whole rant started after one guy in the blog saying he hated having to cheer for Rodgers and you then made a bunch of assumptions after that. Seems like you got weirdly defensive about another team's QB over an innocuous comment.

Wu-Tang performing at halftime would’ve been amazing.

"Triumph,” "C.R.E.A.M.,” "Bring Da Ruckus,” "It’s Yourz,” and let’s not forget the unpredictability of ODB. 😂

He didn't even check on his mother when she was in the path of the wild fires a few years ago because he doesn't even talk to them or his brothers . He may not be a criminal type bad guy but, he is a huge D head type bad guy.

Clearly his family was paid off by Pfizer to say such nasty things about Saint Aaron.

The cop (or cops, I’m not sure) placed on administrative leave before kickoff kinda gave it away

What not to do as the civilian or police officer 101 on display here. Many lawsuits coming. Also didn’t know he had surgery on his knee hope no one drafted him 😎

Well maybe, it also could’ve just been their boss ‘playing it safe’ for a day
