Kicking a FG on 4th and 1 there seems dumb. Converting means you have an excellent chance at a TD and putting it out of each. Whereas a FG still makes it a 2 score game.

I don't understand why ball carriers don't reach for the first down when they're near the sideline like that. It's an easy first down if he just stretches his arm out a bit. That would drive me crazy as a coach.

I only watched the first half but he was strolling through huge holes on every carry.  Jets front seven on defense got demolished.  No excuse for it either; on his first carry Buck and Aikman were talking about Shanahan intending to run the ball 40 times.  
 

I guess Saleh didn’t get the memo.  Reddick doesn’t help anything tonight; he’s not going to stand up against the run, either.

I don’t think Purdy ends up falling off. I’m not starting a franchise with him, but he’s good in that offense and is more than capable. He fits what they do perfectly. Really interested to see what type of deal he gets. I know Shanahan likes him, but I’m sure in the back of his mind he knows he’s not a $60 million/year QB which is what he’s going to command if he has another good season. But they’ll be good again this year and are going to make another deep run. And they’re not going to start over again at the position.

Didn't the Packers lose both their starting tackles for multiple games in that spell though? Baktiari couldn't stay healthy the last 3 years and that's why he's still on the streets now despite being only 32 with multiple all pros.

He should have drafted a DT this year, we had at least twice as many D linemen play over 400 snaps than any of the final 4 and we will again this year I guarantee it, the early bye means that's going to be a brutal down the stretch when we play 12 weeks in a row.

Honestly, I thought despite his inability to string long coherent thoughts together, his press conference response was great.  His ‘I have a sheriff hat’ comment had me rolling though.
