There were two boneheaded plays. The almost pick on the sideline, and then the int in the end zone.

The first pick is fine IMO. It's 3rd and 15 from your own 5. Heave it up and give your guy a chance. The majority of the time they are starting in plus territory anyway if you have to punt. 

Keep his behind in the pocket, that's where he is awesome at.

I’ve really enjoyed Fran Duffy being unleashed on PHLY. I thought he’d still be Mr. Optimistic but he’s keeping it real.

I hate it. Duffy is good but there was a perfect chemistry and duality with Bo providing cringy humor and Zach being the straight guy who tries so hard to remain "professional" and serious. Adding another guy like Zach just throws everything off and also Vinny Curry was horrendous on their post game show. Less is more and I always liked that about PHLY's Eagles coverage, that's gone now.

Bo and Zach have been a fairly bad duo for awhile. It’s mostly cringey, tired jokes and Zach being embarrassed by Bo’s sophomoric jokes. Fran adds real commentary and value. You can tell Bo respects his opinion a lot more because he relentlessly attacks Zach and is gives Fran some room to share his thoughts without pushback.

I disagree. I think Bo and Zach have tremendous chemistry. I also completely disagree that Bo doesn't respect Zach's opinion. They are obviously very friendly with each other and feel comfortable bantering back and forth. All just my humble opinion though.

Zach is just not an interesting podcaster.

I like the PHLY podcast. I know Bo isn’t everyone’s cup of tea, and I still think daily podcasts is overkill in general, but they provide a variety of some days just Bo/Zach and some other days with Fran or someone else. 

The only days I mostly skip is Deniz because I have no idea why he’s on the show other than being Bo’s Twitter friend. I guess they added him for a season ticket holder or fans perspective but the dude smells his own farts daily.

Bo is awful.  Jamie Lynch is also terrible who they have added.

Yea. I like Zach as a beat reporter and like him with Bo but when he hosts with someone else he comes across too stiff.

Hurts has a history of being good in the pocket.  The problem is that hes never in the pocket.  He bails very quickly.  After 5 years, it’s getting really close to the threshold where that’s just his DNA and he will never not bail early.

the real shame is that as a running QB, he is probably last in the league at throwing outside the pocket. Feels like 95% of the time he rolls out, he wont find anyone open and throws it away or takes a dumb sack. Or turns it over. 

Running QBs should be good at throwing on the run. 

I’m not ready to give up on the edge situation.

I think Reddick needed to be traded (we are seeing this play out now).

Huff demonstrated rare burst last year, Smith has rare athleticism, Graham is ancient and pathetically over the hill but has old man strength, and Sweat is a quality edge who is best as your second best guy.

I think that could range from a below average to a really good group, depending on what we get out of Huff and Smith.  I don’t think they have many better options, even if it doesn’t work out.

I wonder if Trotter doesnt begin earning more playing time with Dean so they can deploy Baun off the edge more. He seems to be our most explosive pass rusher.

I'm....skeptical about how edge group because Josh Sweat might be washed.

The only plus is that our LBs can rush the passer which means we can still get pressure with 4. That means Jalyx Hunt might actually need to play in the 2nd half to make that work.
