Saints looking like a juggernaut and Bucs like one of the best teams in the NFC not great though since the Eagles play them back to back on the road the next two weeks.

Bill Walsh's 49ers sucked for 2 years and then took off with Montana as the starter.  (And Montana/SF kept winning SBs without him).  AR never won anything without Mahomes and never will.  Mike Shanahan and Joe Gibbs didn't age gracefully when they tried to do it with a separate roster at an older age.

I believe only 3 coaches in NFL history have won SB's with more than one QB (I could be wrong on this, but it's a low number either way).  Parcells (failed in his old age like BB), Gibbs (failed in his old age like BB), Seifert (did it with Young and Montanta).  

I think it's really tough to single out BB as not having done anything without Brady.  Most HC's haven't done anything without their top QB.

has anyone in sports had the fall from grace doug Pederson has? Dude had a season where he coached to perfection and after that went down hill with the Eagles and the Jags look horribly coached every week.

You should read Bill Walsh’s book. He brought in Steve Young because he thought Young was better. Even said that opposing teams told him they instructed their defenders not to hurt Montana to avoid facing Young.

And look at Walsh’s track record — Fouts, Montana, and Young. That’s THREE hall of famers. How can you possibly compare him to BB?

It’s not a marriage at all. Great coaches get results with multiple QBs.

Reid went to a Super Bowl with McNabb (would have won it too if BB wasn’t illegally stealing our plays, which he later was proven to have done) and put up double digit wins with like 4 other QBs from the top of my head.

Gibbs won SBs with multiple QBs.

Maybe you don’t win it all with multiple QBs, but you don’t STINK. If you’re a good coach you’re going to win 10+ games consistently even with Garcia or Vick.

More than anything the Jaguars have a QB problem. 

Didn’t watch SF/MN, but a weird looking box score.  Everyone on offense seems to have put up yards…just no points.

If the Jags offered the Eagles Lawrence for Hurts, I think Howie says no.

Damn about AJ.   Hopefully it's nothing too serious.   We need him for the Saints and Bucs, both games on the road.    I think Saquon, Smitty and Goedert can carry the load against the Falcons.   The Saints took the Boys to the woodshed in Dallas. Damn.

I would hope so.  There are QBs I’d say yes to, but he is not one of them.
