It’s more of a college issue than anything and the types of offensive systems schools are running. It’s not conducive to progressive reading QB play and it’s where you’re getting the run around and chuck it up style. I really enjoy watching CJ Stroud play though. I think he’s going to be in that top echelon by season’s end.

Stroud doesn’t rely on running and chucking.

He did very little progression reading in college, what haha

He threw to Garrett Wilson, Olave, Smith-Njigba his first year starting

Then Harrison Jr, Emeka Egbuka, Cade Stover

They are one progression read team and will just out talent you

Dumb challenge.

That was a catch.

Baltimore and Harbaugh had two brutal challenges today, not close.

And he’s made the adjustment. Most guys don’t. He’s more of the exception than anything.

WHAT A FING THROW

Wow. That was nice

The upper echelon QBs right now are as bad as I’ve ever seen in my lifetime of following NFL football.

It’s early in the year and they’ll all settle in, sure.  Even Mahomes hasn’t been lighting it up through 2 games…and we know he eventually will.  Mahomes may go down as the best to ever play the position.  I’m not sure the best of the rest even makes a pro-bowl in the last generation of QBs.  That’s why Mahomes is just going to keep winning SB’s when the rubber hits the road in the 4th quarter of playoff games.

Nearly QB in the NFL is basically a knock off wannabe Mahomes.   All about mobility and improvised sling it from multiple arm angle throws.  Mahomes is an anomaly and makes that work.  So many QBs in the league right now with huge arms and athleticism and none of them are that good.

I think it might be time for teams to go back to the drawing board with their offenses and how they approach the QB position.

I just think being a QB is really really difficult and why are only a few studs. No different than the NBA only a few true #1 in the league.

I think he made it. Also loved the effort

He definitely is closer than what they spotted it as.

Should go for it anyway. Bears defense hasn’t gotten much pressure on stroud and they’ve gain at least a yard on every carry.

Looks like a 1st down.

Damn Texans are stacked at WR.

Need Dell to get some catches for fantasy.

Have hit on my favorite $10 bet two weeks in a row…last year I only hit it 3 times but at a total investment of $170 for the year I always wind up ahead. This year so far I’m 2/2.

They took the points instead of going for it. Interesting choice.

I would’ve went for it. Not like the bears have really been stopping you

Probably a good decision to go for it.

As a diehard buckeye fan. If stroud were this good with us, we’d have won a natty

Caleb broke a nail

It’s always him who got the sack

Deandre Carter (former eagle) taking over

He's a guy I wish they held on to. He's put together a really nice career as a returner and backup WR.

Don’t worry… The Football Gods saw it too. Two personal fouls coming up….

Bears playcalling sucks

Bears run blocking sucks
