This is a bend but don’t break defense.  Not fun, doesn’t feel great, but technically that’s a lot better than last year.

As long as they maintain that bend don’t break then yeah…

There is zero pass rush and we're getting roasted by Robinson and Allgeier

Robinson is a legit good RB though.

That's like crap talking the people last season raising red flags when the team was winning.

The DL is a dumpster fire right now.

I was wrong about Huff. He sucks. This defense is soft as hell. The offense has looked so lost after Barkley’s hot start.

That was an incredibly disappointing half.

Boring game

Cousins is def very limited. Any decent qb would shred this D without any pass rush. Such a fall from grace considering we had the records for most sacks just 2 seasons back.

That really only works when your offense is scoring.   Otherwise, its just death by 1000 papercuts.

They’ll break against the top offenses, as most average defenses do.  But last year they broke against anyone and everyone.  This year I’d expect 30 burgers against any top offense, but at least not against the mediocre ones.

That works with a defense that can generate pressure with 4. Fortunately Cousins doesn’t seem to be on the same page with his receivers but this will be the only time this defense only gives up 6 in a half

The bigger concern to me is that their pass rush is nonexistent. Brandon Graham is about the only one that has gotten to the passer. That’s not good especially when you paid a lot of money to huff and drafted Nolan smith with a 1st.

also not great that the Falcons line is just completely pushing the Eagles defensive line 3 to 4 yards back on every run.

Gainwell with the dynamic return

Feels like the same team as last year.

Is Clowney available?

Trade huff back to the jets for reddick

Everyone knew the Falcons had to run the ball and we gave up over 100 yards on the ground and barely laid a finger on Cousins.  Offense didn't play complimentary football but this was supposed to be a dominant defensive performance

I think it’s pretty dumb for them to kick it but what do I know?

In normal circumstances, you definitely should go for it based on the analytics. Part of the rationale is that the other team is pinned deep in their own end if you fall to convert and their chances of ending their drive with pts is much less than compared to after a kickoff. But in this scenario at the end of the half, you lose that benefit. I still think you go for it from 3 yards out but it's less of a no-brainer.

Maybe the offense should give some real production. If you give up 6 points in the first half, with our offense, you should be winning the game by at least a touchdown.

I expected this team to be up and down for the first month while they figured out the new schemes, but they are just getting blown off the ball.

Don’t know that these issues will resolve themselves.

I would love to be more upset if the rest of our front 6 weren't getting blown off the ball.

My kingdom for some heavier boxes and run blitzes. Fangio truly betting on Cousins self-destructing. Fair, but....

This was really the week many of us said they needed a clean win.  Enough of the ugly wins.  Not getting it.

And what we need in those games is our offense to be the offense it’s meant to be… a top 5 offense.

Only 1 QB hit and a RB averaging almost 8 YPC. I have no idea how they only managed to score 6.

Yeah and we've got a ton of first-round draft capital and big FA money invested into the defensive line.

They are playing like arse and we are very lucky Atlanta isn't good enough to make us pay for it.

Play more Booker. Better than our entire line in one play.

Also, is it me or is Jalen Carter on the ground constantly?
