Genuinely think the fastest way to a turnaround is a defensive HC and keeping Kellen Moore, assuming that the rest of the year goes well.

Hell, Steichen might be available given how things look in Indy.

That’s fine, but Lurie and Howie will take bullets for meddling and dictating the offensive coaching staff and scheme.

Granted, defensive guys don’t have great options.  So a premium DC might still sign up for that.

If this season goes south, I really hope Howie doesn't get desperate and blow picks to try to salvage the season with trades. If they start spiraling, let nature take its course, keep the picks, and gut this whole thing at the end of the season.

Lurie fired Doug early, but kept this moron.

My goodness...

The overcorrection is nauseating on so many different levels

Need to give Moore a shot at HC, need to do it before the bye week.

Why are you so damn biased? That is crazy, he is literally the play caller that called the play you call a train wreck, and you're saying you want HIM as head coach?

Low IQ.

Hurts is up to 24 giveaways in his last 20 games.

And then if Moore has a good season and gets a HC job then we are back in the same situation.

Hire the best coach, come what may.

That's what we were made to believe, but this offense looks exactly the same minus a few designed runs and WR screens

Yep. Said this last week and it’s still true now.

That is all he has ever done since he entered college.  The only time since he left high school that he had the same OC for two years in a row he went to the Super Bowl.  Yet he continues to be as good as he is.  If they could manage to get an actual offensive mind around him as HC then imagine the possibilities.

Wentz has had a lot of different OCs too.  At some point it says something about the player too…

Just saw the behind center angle on the dropped pass to Saquon. DeVonta was wide open in the end zone.

They wussed out, didn't want to take the heat.

They knew Siri had no business being HC.

We have a one read qb. He sucks. 50 mil a season and he’s a trash can

It's still fun to watch this offense. That will carry me this season as we go 10-7 and lose in the wild-card round.

SuperBowl52 has taken a lot of my edge off.

I thought Steichen was the mastermind that made Sirianni look competent?

Or was that Frank Reich? I lost track of how many times the blog has used this argument.

The players know Siri is an idiot, no amount of touching anecdotes can hide that.

They know he cost them this game.

They are probably wondering how did Barkley drop that and how did the defense give up that last drive so easily.

There's no way the Falcons should have went down and scored so quickly and so easily.  No F'ing way.

This is on Fangio and his stupid scheme that worked 10 years ago.

If there is a coaching change after this year, Hurts may not lose his job right away, but there will likely be a guy drafted as a contingency.

What exactly does Sirianni bring to the enterprise?

Or you just RUN THE F'IN BALL!!!

So do you want the head coach calling the plays, or the O.C.?

Whatever your answer is, just STFU rather than saying it.

It was strange that Lisa Salters got the AJ multiple weeks scoop before the major news breakers. Caught me totally off guard. Figured Eagles were being safe just this week.

Fun? Watching the offense today was fun for you?

No excuses this year with that OL snd his weapons even without Brown.

diner flow level anecdotes.

There really would have been no justification to fire him last year, at least through the lens of the coaching community. I don’t think we were getting a top candidate, considering he saw two Super Bowl coaches before him ran off at the first real sign of trouble. He did right bringing him back. This job will look good in a year with a candidate knowing Sirianni got a fair shake.

While I agree with you on the same hand would anyone have hired Sirianni this coaching cycle? Or any cycle going forward? It’s a very weird situation.

He’s the one who told her before the game.
