He’s the one who told her before the game.

Usually Schefter/Rap/etc would have that scoop from him or his agent before a pregame interview

While I agree with you on the same hand would anyone have hired Sirianni this coaching cycle? Or any cycle going forward? It’s a very weird situation.

Siri will never be a HC again in the NFL.

Why would anyone hire a HC that has zero Xs and Os value and is categorically dependent on his coordinators.

If there is a coaching change after this year, Hurts may not lose his job right away, but there will likely be a guy drafted as a contingency.

I thought Hurts had a good game, the Barkley drop wasn’t his fault call was catchable.
scrub Siri was the L tonight and of course that terrible defense

The thing is, it was third and 3 and we were getting good push all night on the ground. If it’s 3rd and 7, hell yeah, pass the ball. There was a lot of reason to believe we could pick up a first down while also keeping the clock moving. Running was a great option with a high likelihood of an excellent outcome!

Of course. Our offense is good and bully-ball is fun.

Barkley has 16 drops since 2021, most in the NFL by an RB…

Guess our all stars in the analytical dept missed that one.

It's still fun to watch this offense. That will carry me this season as we go 10-7 and lose in the wild-card round.

SuperBowl52 has taken a lot of my edge off.

Barkley, Smith, and Brown are fun to watch

That's about it for me

Without any emotion in your answer, purely objective, does Nick survive a 1-3 start?

99.9% yes. Lurie doesn’t make rash decisions. The only coach he fired mid season was one that ruined his Christmas and the team stunk anyway. I would be shocked if Sirianni got fired at any point during the season.

Turns out the Britain Covey focused WR screen offense and no pressure at all defense was not the winning formula.

There's no excuse for this offense to score less than 25 points against a team like the falcons. There just isn't. They couldn't do ish for an entire half, made worse by that Fing buffoon not kicking a field goal

Something tells me Hurts is not the QB of choice for any potential new HC candidates, if Siri gets fired this year. Having AJ, Smith, Goedert and Barkley, that’s intriguing. What respect does Hurts get from around the league besides being a weapon with his legs?

Thai makes the play call even worse. Moron coaching staff.

That 3rd down is going to bug me for awhile. It was so obvious they should have ran for it

The scheme he was taught is ineffective in the NFL, so he'd likely end up as an OC under a strong O coach to learn another scheme before he re-entered the HC market. You can notice this trend because pretty much every person from the same "tree" as him is floundering or failed, including Steichen who people professed as the golden boy that made Sirianni competent. Same thing that they said about Frank Reich and Doug. And considering the "tree" is Frank Reich's, you get where the problem lies.

I don’t get this insult. Who else would his fantasy be for?

Yea we watched two different offenses. I saw an offense struggle to score 21 points against a middling defense and then throw the game away with 2 timeouts left

Is Goedert intriguing? He’s a JAG now

I’ll ask people again. What did you see from the defense on that final drive that makes you think Atlanta doesn’t score with a minute to go instead of 1:40?

Sirianni brings more to this football team than that DWats guy brings to this message board

Very disappointed in Goedert’s usage. This really set up to be a big game for him, but he seems to be an afterthought. Moore has gotten good production out TEs at every stop.

Did Huff play? Also how the F did we beat Green Bay

I personally think they should’ve run twice
