No it's not just the field but Atlanta has a decent O Line, a top 5 unit in the League with all 5 starters from last year back and settled and The Packers are a comfortably top half line too, up next are the Saints who have a rookie projected as a Right Tackle / Guard at LT and a failed LT at RT. I expect the D Line to show up better in Nawleans.

This all smacks of last year when everyone got convinced Miami were going to clean our clocks whereas in reality, Miami had beaten up on bad teams and were paper tigers, the Saints are this years Miami.

That’s fine for the Saints game…but everything smacks of last year.  Including the fatal flaws of this team.

Jalen Hurts has 26 carries, mostly physical running, through 2 weeks.

Great, sustainable way to use the $250m qb.  How long do you think that will take before he’s banged up?

Where I am at.

This exposed the team, did us a favor early. This team ain’t winning crap. That defense is as bad or worse than last year. Zero pass rush two games in a row.

I think a lot of owners wouldn’t care but I imagine Lurie is quite pissed that was the performance on the same night they honored their Super Bowl MVPs career. He’s not going to make any sudden fires but the seed in his brain is planted and probably sprouting.

It’ll be telling how they come out the next two weeks. You saw what happened last year when they faced adversity and they completely fell apart. So either gonna see more of the same or they go the other direction. If it’s more of the same then obviously the answer is they need a new voice.

That loss last night was eerily similar to the Seahawks game last year. Also could say eerily similar to the commanders game but Rivera was a coward and kicked the extra point instead of going for two.

I wouldn’t fire Kellen Moore

Not long

be great if he would stay in the pocket and wctually throw the ball

All that Fangio hype and now this

Dotson played that much and was invisible. Mostly same for Goedert.

On D, WAY too much Maddox. He probably would have been at 98% if he didn’t get hurt.

This list is just one giant game of "where’s Waldo?” For the majority of guys on there.

Screams of a bad gameplan no?

I think he’s most likely to be the interim HC if they did fire sirianni before the end of the season.

my question is this, AJ Brown is out. We are paying Dallas Goddard a good amount of money. Somehow goedert had less targets than Britain Covey last night. And I don’t really think teams are like man AJ Brown is out we really gotta take away goedert. Especially when Smith and Saquon are still out there on offense. this has been an issue for a while now. It’s not just goedert to blame. It’s multiple factors. But the fact we are paying him what we are and we can’t get more out of him in the passing game with AJ out is concerning.

I've been wanting them to draft a defensive end high for years.

Relying on Smith & Huff for pass rush isn't it.

They used a premium pick on Smith.  The problem is the scouts.

Ya agree very concerning but Jalen cant have yet another OC and Kellen Moore should get some time to work with him. I mean Jalen is paid and he ain’t going anywhere we go where he goes. That "Fangio” defense tho? Terrible. Lucky to win 8-9 games

The Eagles were absolutely out coached on both sides of the ball.

They thought Covey was going to be an answer to a bunch of blitzes. But on most plays the protection was good and no one was open.  The Eagles should have just crammed the ball down their throats, but no we have to make Hurts a star.

Fangio was even worse.  I'm not sure what he did, his lack of adjustments were negligent.  Literally everyone on the planet could have told you the Falcons game plan and he still didn't care.  I don't think Cousins tried to throw a single ball down field and we let them dink and dunk and run the ball when they needed to.

The Falcons had one path to victory and we laid the red carpet out for them

I guess Isaiah Rodgers didn’t do literally anything since I don’t see him anywhere on the snap counts

Maddox being out there goes on coach and Howie. Like we knew Maddox was done last year. yet he’s back on the this roster. He can’t stay healthy to begin with. So unreliable to stay on the field. and after all the injuries he is nowhere near the same player he was like 3-4 years ago. That said our coach could be like this guy has nothing left and i rather go with yhe young guys to get experience if maddox is going to be that bad.

Brought that up last night. Personnel is a problem. It was a problem for Desai last year. It’s why i said at the time I’m fine firing him but you aren’t going to be better. Have issues personnel wise. Yet everyone wanted to say it was Desai and coaching. Meanwhile got the best defensive coach you could ge to run this scheme. He was going to help make players better since it was his scheme not anyone running a version of it. Go back watch the dolphins/titans game last year. Dolphins were up 27-14 with 4:34 left. Titans go 75 yards on a 1:54 drive. Force a punt then go on a 64 yards drive in 26 seconds to take the lead.

Bc the qb cant/wont use the middle of the field

His def had always been more bend-dont-break right?

they kept Holding them to fgs but the lack of creative pressure on an immobile qb is a real head scratcher

Then to sit back on last possession when you got zero pressure all game

Agree. They did get burned on the blitz though

Overreaction time much?

If Barkley makes a routine catch, game over.

If Wilson comes back to his QB, game over.

If Smith holds on to the TD pass, game over.

New coordinators on both sides of the ball means players are still learning systems while coordinators are learning players.

Huff is what he is, a pass rush specialist. Reddick is better against the run, but can't drop into coverage at all. Sweat is also a pass rush specialist playing full time.

Baun got exposed, he struggled getting off blocks, Dean is meh.

Maddox is good in coverage for the most part, but undersized, DeJean is still learning the ropes.

Best lineman was Booker.

I'll panic if they are struggling like this after the bye week.
