Still running a high school offense.  2- 9 in the last 11 games. Team is hot garbage with no forthcoming respite.

hurts is an average passing qb, possibly below average.  he has off the charts intangibles but his skillset just isn't there.  Again like last year I'm hopeful he can get better but it's not looking good.

Leaving that stadium last night, it was silent. Coaching, lack of pass rush, and lack of situational awareness lost that game for the Birds.

Saquon drops the ball. It happens. But should have never been a pass call in the first place. Do you then kick a FG or go for it on 4th which at worse gives the Falcons the ball deep in their own territory?

Not taking the 3 points early in the game was dumb. Sirianni is aggressive when he shouldn’t be and a **** when he shouldn’t be too.

Being completely unable to move a hobbled Cousins off his spot literally all Fing day was a travesty.

$1000+, hours spent trying to get out of the lot, and a sour taste in my mouth and sadness in my son’s eyes was well worth it.

I was looking closely at Eagles-Bengals tickets. I’m glad I decided to wait to pull the trigger. No point in going now.

He's not an average passing QB. Derek Carr is an average passing QB. Jalen Hurts is closer to Trey Lance than most want to admit.

Start Booker, Start White. Get Rodgers in. Let Dejean play. Cannot get any worse on the D.

I don't think sirianni is the answer either.  every key decision he made last night was wrong.  And his team is saying they aren't on the same page.  not a good look.  he's got a lot of work to do and I'm not sure he's up for the job.

you may be right.  I just don't see the anticipation or ability to scan the field.  it seems it's one read and bail.  that's not the recipe for passing success.    I mean what was his best pass last night?

I mean what's his job really apart from making faces and making bone headed decisions.  You go and get Moore and the O looks like the same as last year. I mean first drive is an example. Why the heck you call a qb draw before your RB has touched the ball. He's a glorified clipboard holder.

Way to go Howie.

Eagles dump more resources and money into d-line than most other teams and this is what they have.

Holy crap that dline is a joke.

Been saying that for some time now and people don't want to admit it. They get too caught up in the hype around Jalen Carter or Jordan Davis serves a purpose that you don't see on paper. Sorry, if you trade up to pick 13, using 4 picks to do so, pass on Kyle Hamilton in the process for a DT, I want IMPACT, not he serves a purpose. There's still time for Jalen Carter, but he hit that rookie wall early last year and hasn't been the same since. It's nice to see people finally seeing what I brought up last year regarding him not staying on his feet. He's always on the ground. He needs to learn how to play aggressive but under control.

DE's are a joke.

well making sure the team is on the same page would be one thing he could be doing.  I think the fact that is happening tells me he doesn't really have his thumb on the pulse of this team and I think contributes to his current lack of feel with this team and the bad decisions.  the team is obviously off, why would you put more stress on them go with the simplest choice.  He didn't do that and it bit him in the butt.

Booker, Williams and Ojomo all need more PT. Agree, get White on the field. Let's hope he's a pros pro and doesn't pout about being inactive. Not sure who you take off the field for Rodgers but yea, DeJean needs to be on the field for Maddox.

I'll also add, give Jalyx Hunt a look. Sydney Brown comes back after the bye too.

If fangio has any brains he will do this.  he definitely didn't seem to ride the hot hands last night, he kept rolling out the starters and they were getting dominated.

Sadly I already booked the Air BnB and got the tix.

I’m for investing in pass rush. But they really missed on a ton there. Huff looks clueless. Sweat has disappeared. Davis has never developed his pass rushing skills. Nolan smith is slightly better than huff. i also feel like the eagles are in an outdated philosophy on some things. For instance linebacker. The two teams that got to the Sb (the one that won a SB) had above average to good linebackers. Dean is about the highest investment in the draft they’ve made at the position since Howie has come back in charge. Bradham in FA has panned out. White was solid but they didn’t retain him. I’d argue outside of those two it’s not really been all that great. The one guy you developed into a good linebacker in TJ Edwards, you didn’t pay and let him walk in hopes Dean would be the guy.

Hurts is just playing street/sandlot ball again. It’s clunky, chaotic, and an absolute battle just to get a first down. People will clamor about the time of possession, longer drives, but the longer this offense has the ball the more likely Hurts being a turnover machine is to turn its head like we saw on the final drive. Part of it was because AJ being out and him needing an elite WR to be efficient because Jalen does not elevate anyone or make anyone better on this offense.

And if this style of offense keeps up, it’ll be the fourth season in a row Hurts gets injured. It isn’t sustainable.

Has that really been the problem, though? When I see him failing it's when he hasn't thrown the football after a couple seconds. When Hurts quickly decides to climb the pocket and find some room to scoot forward he's making his biggest plays.

Thats what a first read looks like deep outside the numbers

Devin White sucks, guys. All he would do is get out of position quicker than Baun and Dean.

well obviously that's not a reason not to play someone... see Bryce huff.

How was the defense tired? The eagles time of possession 36-24. Before that TD drive by Atlanta in the second half, the eagles had held the ball 19:17 to 9:04. More so there were 3 drives prior to that TD drive. The eagles held ball for 9:34. Falcons had a 1:09 drive. And then the eagles with a 3:54 drive. There’s no way the defense should’ve been that tired.

cousin’s looking like he’s playing on one leg went 13-16 in the second half of the game. They scored on 3 of 4 possessions in the second half barely having the ball for 10 mins

Why do you think falcons jumped into no huddle so many times? Its not just about the raw snap count but we had too many guys at too high a percentage and also getting their asses handed to them. This defense may be faster but its still physically weak

I’m with you. I don’t want to see white. There’s a reason why Bowles and Tampa had enough and benched him then moved on. I don’t think trotter Jr would be any better than what we have already in. But frankly i rather just see him so he gets experience and maybe he pans out for us. Tbh i don’t really think linebacker is getting any better.

Huff at least as a something to show positively in the past two years. White hasnt been any good for a long time. We need Huff to work through whatever the hell is going on. White just sucks.

I think a lot of owners wouldn’t care but I imagine Lurie is quite pissed that was the performance on the same night they honored their Super Bowl MVPs career. He’s not going to make any sudden fires but the seed in his brain is planted and probably sprouting.

By the way, they didnt honor Foles at halftime like they said they would.

All they did was introduce him and his family in the beginning of the game, and send him out as an honorary captain. That was it.

There was no halftime ceremony as promised. All the fans were waiting for it. What we got instead was a whole bunch of Spanish dancing from a group of dancers that included Jason Avant.  Maybe since that incredible act was in town they decided to bump Foles to next week.

It was more embarrassing than the stupid wire hanger statue the Commanders made for Sean Taylor. Foles got less than that.

I would rather watch any LB on the 53 play over White except probably Burks.

2-9 says everything.  Even though it’s going back to last year, they are largely the same team.  At 2-9, you can’t say it’s early or that they’ll figure it out.  They are bad until proven otherwise.

Huff has been awful but I'm gonna give him one more week before I throw in the towel on him. Still feels like the ball is coming out too fast a lot of the time to allow for pressure to get home.
