Nick immediately down played it but I don't see why AJ would lie unless there was just some big misunderstanding between he and Salters. The fact they ruled him out Sunday ahead of time and he didn't even test it pregame makes me think he's missing the Saints and Nick is just doing his competitive advantage routine.

Same ish different year. The worst case scenario was hiring the wrong defensive coordinator after last years debacle and so far it seems as if Fangio was not the right pick. He also has very suspect talent to work with but these concepts are either players ignoring their assignments or just a flat out horrendous scheme altogether. Maybe both.

Lisa Salters didn’t say multiple weeks I’m not sure why it keeps being reported like that. She said "AJ Brown told me this injury is probably going to keep him out two weeks.”

‘Multiple could mean 5 weeks. A small distinction, but important, because multiple has people speculating about IR which doesn’t seem to be on the table at the moment.

She said "a couple weeks." Hopefully that means just two. But I say couple all the time and don't necessarily mean two.

Seems like the Huff problem isn't overly complicated. Get-off the only elite part of his game. You disrupt that, you shut him down completely. GB and Atlanta chipped him and he had no answer. As an ace pass rusher or full time player, I think he has no chance.

No, oddly and frighteningly enough, it was Jerry Stiller.

Oof Kirk Cousins was at 2.93 seconds per attempt and doesn’t move and there still was no pass rush

This is just hilariously pathetic 😂. You dont even need a lineman to block him he takes himself out of the play for free.

 

That defensive line performance was the worst I think I’ve ever seen with the Eagles. In decades watching. It wasn’t just the no pass rush it was how on almost every run play all 4 linemen were either being flattened or slipping to the ground. It looked like a bunch of grown men tossing kids around. Some plays they were all on the ground at once. I mean talking about running lanes. That was a running highway. 8 yard before the back was even touched it was a joke.

We have talent, not a rebuild at all. Defense plays like ass, BB would fix that. Always one of least penalized teams in the league too. Were just poorly coached.

Those guys are all 2 gapping to watch for run first. They arent allowed to just pin their ears back and go.

Jordan Davis and Jalen Carter did this at Georgia when that defense was so en vogue 2-3 years ago. Its why Georgia freak DL didnt have a ton of sack numbers, and why they arent getting them in philly either. Sweat did it at FSU as well.

It makes 0 sense for Huff, an undersized speed rusher to have to engage a blocker first rather than use his truly elite first step as a weapon. This defense doesnt put guys in position to make plays.
