I’d love for that team to miss the playoffs.

I’d love to see the dbacks fall out of the playoffs. Currently they are the 6 seed as the Mets hold the tiebreaker with them. Their schedule is hard the rest of the way. 1 at Colorado, 4 at Milwaukee, 3 vs. sf and 3 vs Sd. Mets is even harder as they got 1. Vs. nats, 4 vs. Phillies, 3 at Braves and 3 at Milwaukee. Braves have the easiest remaining schedule 2 at Reds, 3 at marlins, 3 vs. Mets and 3 vs. royals (chance the royals clinched a playoff spot by that point)

Probably the one where he readjusted his helmet mid play

I think what annoys me the most about last night's game was the sickening feeling I had when the Eagles went up 16-10 with a little over a minute and a half to go. In my heart of hearts, I just KNEW that the Falcons were going to drive down the field with ease. I wasn't certain that they would actually score, but I knew they were going to put themselves in good position. We've seen this same thing so many times in recent years. Teams just move down the field effortlessly with very little time on the clock.

I think it happened in Washington last year. They went the length of the field in about thirty seconds. Granted they were down two scores at the time but we couldn't even put up a challenge against them. And then Dallas last year went about seventy yards in about twenty seconds. Absolutely ridiculous. It's a miracle we stopped them.

And then there was the Seattle game. No resistance whatsoever in the final minute. Just boom boom boom touchdown.

Even last week, we let the Packers get thirty-five yards in about fifteen seconds. Ridiculous.

So I just knew the Falcons would carve us up. I didn't in any way envision a sack, a fumble, or an interception. And even an incompletion felt far fetched. I even said to the people I was sitting with that "when the clock hits a minute left, the Falcons will already be in our territory." Naturally they were. With zero difficulty.

And this is what's disgusting to me. Just the realization that we cannot clamp down when the other team is in a "we gotta throw quickly and gain a lot of yardage" situation. It's sickening.

Don’t forget the Dallas game at home where they marched 80 yards in 19 seconds to go from the 14 yard line all the way down to the 6 yard line (46 seconds left on the clock when they got it back).

can also use the chiefs game where if MVS didn’t drop a wide open touchdown pass they likely lose that game

There's so many things with this whole Eagles era of football I'm so done with.

I'm tired of the Fangio defenses always sucking.

I'm tired of them never being able to incorporate new guys into roles. Every new guy they bring in not named AJ Brown it's like nuclear physics to try to figure out a way to get them involved or to get them producing.

I'm tired of the situational inconsistencies with decisions.

I'm tired of "dawg mentality"

I'm tired of Sirianni acting like a teenager on the sidelines

I'm tired of the RPO

I'm tired of their pet fascination with some players who just suck, but they continue to have this bizarre loyalty to them with playing time.

Just the whole thing man. I'm so over it. I'm glad football is back so I'm going to enjoy the crap out of this season, but part of me just wants to fast forward at least the Eagles part of it so we can be done with the whole thing. I know it's not scientific, but I just feel like the thing is diseased and won't mend until they make sweeping changes. The past offseason was trying to band aid over a festering wound and I don't think it's going to work. I want a new vision in here on both sides of the ball. I know I'm saying this after only 2 weeks, but I felt it last season and watching the game last night made me feel like watching last season again and it felt so gross and I just want no part of another 17 games of that. It was terrible.

Ngakoue will most likely be the panic signing this season to help the defensive line. The same way Leonard was last year in an attempt to salvage the linebackers. I don’t see it solving anything, but I guess it can’t hurt to try. And it won’t cost any draft picks with him being a FA.

Yup, and it really was 90% of last season too. There might have been 2 games that weren't awful to watch.

This is different than the teams a lot of the older fans watched that sucked. Yea, there were Eagles teams that were worse and had worse records. But you expected them to suck. You knew they were losing. This team, on offense at least, is too Fing talented to play as bad as they have for the past 19 games. They lucked out for 10 games last season, their version of winning was unsustainable.

And we kept the clown running that show

The downside to the dbacks missing is that both the Mets and braves make it in. Not that I worry about playing them but I don't want either of those franchises to experience any sort of happiness. Particularly the Mets.

That said, F the dbacks too.

To me the most dangerous team in the National League is the Diamondbacks if they get in. Their offense has been good all year and they’ve had a bunch of guys injured. They are finally healthy. So their offense could be even better. Plus their rotation has some legitimate starters. likely going to face them in the NLDS. So it’s a five game series. You don’t play well in Arizona. Add on the Diamondbacks seem to be a thorn in their side. I am much more worried about the Diamondbacks than the two NL East teams.

Frankly, I think the Padres would beat mets or Braves teams. So you are likely facing the padres in the NLDS if you are the top seed if the two NL East teams make it. If it is padres vs. dbacks i think it’s a complete toss up.

imo if im the dbacks, Mets or Braves i want the 6 seed. I think padres are better than Milwaukee. And then nlds you get a dodgers team that has a ton of injuries to their rotation. Yamamoto is about the only one left. And he’s not even up to full force yet. I think the 6 seeds path is more doable then the 5 seed

Who is the last young player they developed not on the OL and not a top 10 pick like Smith? I said it earlier today, but they are like the Phillies.

Well, you’re not wrong.  That is his game…extending and signing players prematurely before the market has another upward correction.  The result has been some nice high value contracts, but also some real albatross deals.
