Jon Marks brought up this question, thought it was interesting to throw out for a quick poll. Do you think Lurie would fire Sirianni mid season even if things get really bad or does he have the whole season no matter what?

Probably out indefinitely with that answer

I didn't know people had vaginas in their feet - interesting

Yet idiots will still try to bash Josh Harris.

If they get blown out by the Saints and Bucs heading into the bye week the heat will be on but Lurie will give him the bye to try tongrt it corrected.  Of they come out after the bye at home and get blown out by the Browns them he is gone that week.

I'd be very surprised if Lurie fired him mid season. He fired Chip with one game left, but everyone hated Chip at that point.

In that scenario, it would make more sense to use the bye week to hire and acclimate a new HC if they are planning on firing Sirianni this early in the year anyways. If the ice is that thin then just cut bait. Or give him the season.

Those of you who use Twitter/X, can you see ranked trending topics anymore? Would be so idiotic if Elon took that off, I mean come the hell on

Reminder the Eagles will likely have 3 (THREE!) first round picks in next years draft and we still got the guy we wanted in this years draft. My hat goes off to

I know you'd want to keep Q at outside, but for this game I'd go Slay/Rodgers outside and Q inside when we go nickel. And Q and Slay on the outside in base. The Saints run a lot of 12 personnel, so we shouldn't be in nickel nearly as much. I'd try and get the best players on the field. I'm not sure DeJean is ready.

Need to keep Q on their burner Shahiid

Have you seen his face? And have you paid attention to some of the things he spent the money on?

Game script flipped pretty quick

How do you tweak a foot during a walkthrough? I'd bet anything he did it while dancing during practice.

Greenlaw tore his Achilles just running onto the field.  Stranger things have happened.

I'd be surprised as well. Chip had Corporate social issues, he was a Horse's Ass. I haven't heard anything about Sirianni being an Horse's Ass.

I've seen him jawing at fans.  He may not be a horse's ass, but he's no shrinking violet either.   Personally, I'd rather he be able to control himself, but it is what it is.

Can easily justify canning him and elevating Moore

I’m not so sure. I read that after Monday’s game the only one who spoke in the locker room was Hurts. No coaches. That game was a cacophony of bad coaching and bad tactics. You can’t fire the whole coaching staff but you can certainly fire a HC who does nothing.

Unless Hurts got up and owned his awful play its just more fake chatter and cliches

Early bye week this season. If we lose the next two games, Sirianni might go.

All we've ever seen Hurts offer up is cliches.  Unless "chips on chips" and "keep the main thing the main thing" touches people's hearts, Hurts being the motivational speaker isn't even as beneficial as Matt Foley.

I've always gotten the sense that Hurts in private, and in the locker room, is a lot different than press conference Hurts.

The "leadership" shows itself, doesn't it?

So far in 2024 through two games, Hurts is again at the bottom of the league in time-to-throw metric at 3.24 seconds.  Jacoby Brissett is 2.99, Deshaun Watson is at 3.01, Anthony Richardson is at 3.10, Kyler Murray is at 3.15

Last season under Moore, Herbert was 2.80 seconds and Easton Stick was 2.82.

In Dallas from 2019 to 2022 with Moore, Dak was 2.88, 2.77, 2.75, and 2.72

Only two games of sample often gives wonky results, but Hurts is normally above 3.0 seconds for his career.  In his best season in 2022, he had it down at 2.76 seconds for the season.

I thought I would stop by and see how my old pals on the EMB were doing. I did catch some highlights from the last minute loss and figured you all would be a bit upset. Still too early in the season ot be too upset though. That said while I really don't miss football that much I do miss the interaction in here with you guys. Hoping things turn around for you.
