Goedert stepped up. Saquon stepped up. Carter stepped up. Blankenship stepped up. Fred Johnson stepped up.

Sirianni is still a clown.

He’s not a balanced safety.  When you control his usage and matchups to what he does well, he looks kind of awesome.  When he gets caught doing what he doesn’t do well, you wonder why he starts.

Physical, great in the box against the run, A+ instincts…incredibly decisive and pretty explosive moving upfield from center field against both the pass (int machine doing this) and the run (heat seeking missile).

But he’s a liability turning his hips and trying to cover someone.

Most safeties are.  CJGJ got exposed a ton on that TD to Olave.  Having a pair of safeties that can flip their hips and cover like a CB is a tremendous luxury.  It's not the norm around the league at all.   Blankenship is a starting quality S.   He's not an All-Pro, but he belongs on the field.

At least he found the right guy and he happened to be wide open.

Hurts needs to learn to spread it around even when AJ comes back.

That was the primary read.

There are good things to take from the game despite the mistakes. Hurts threw for 311 yards. Barkley and Goedert balled out. Defense stepped up.

We have to hope last season doesn't repeat. They need to show consistency, reduce mistakes, and get some comfortable wins.

Siri's decisions are too costly. What the hell is he even doing?

Not at all. He didn’t have a TD or many rushing yards. Terrible fantasy day for him. 11 points.

He threw for 300 yards though! He must have had a good game.

Sweat played well today too he beat Fuaga several times just didn't get the sack. Huff invisible again.

Saints are still a dirty team. They need to get penalized and fined.

My game breakdown:

There’s tough wins and then there’s IDK wtf just happened.  Nothing has changed.  Siri is lost as a HC, Hurts sucks, most of the UGA players are terrible.

Ringo was thrown in cold in a tough spot, but still don't see it with him at all.

I am thinking that Lurie questioned Siri's lack of aggressiveness on Monday.  He didn't pass on any aggressive decisions.

Using that particular clip is going to upset people

I think, through 3 games, Blankenship has been pretty decisively superior to CJGJ.

Man Saquan is a high class dude. I know he likely was with the Giants too, but I can't compliment a Giant.

He was.    But yes.  Very high character guy.  Killed me watching him in NY for those years.  I cannot express the joy I have watching him with the Eagles.

If we had faster ILBs, we would love Reed. With the LBs we have, Reed's weaknesses show up more.

I saw him fall down at the snap on one rush. That’s all I’ve got on him.

No stats for Huff again.

Well every prediction was the Saints would destroy us. If someone told the future last Mon night and said they will not have AJ and then in the game Lane, Becton, Smitty and Slay would all get hurt, and Hurts would have 2 turnovers you'd guess it would be a 70-0 game.

It was an ugly win nevertheless, and they need to show improvement and consistency. But they do have positives to take from it.

Depending on the league passing yards don’t mean much. His two turnovers were costly too for fantasy owners.

Moving to the 5-man fronts in base made a huge difference stopping the run; in passing situations Carter and BG were bulling over the OL. Nice 180 from last week.

Bryce Huff still stinks.

As happy as I am for BG that he’s still playing at a high level, he has no business being the best DE on this defense.

Not abysmal.  But if the Saints defenders don't run into each other, we lose because of his turnovers.

Easy now, don't take Nick off the hook turning down points like they were raw broccoli.

We all thought they'd get destroyed today.

To come out of New Orleans with a win is big.   It's already loud and a very difficult place to play.  To be without AJ and then all the guys that got hurt in this game and still win is huge.  This should have been an L.

I don't know if they beat TB but I'm feeling alot better about it especially after the way the Bucs played today.

Yea, credit the defense. That doesn’t change the fact they tried to lose the game at every single turn.
