He got cooked on his lone play, turned inside out.  Carter showed up for 4 quarters though.  The rest (Davis, Dean and Smith) maybe had about 3 plays between them?

What game were you watching?

Depending on the league passing yards don’t mean much. His two turnovers were costly too for fantasy owners.

That’s the point…fantasy generally doesn’t correlate to on the field results.  People will call this a good game because he threw for 311 yards despite being 25 or 50% of the reason the team should have lost.

great start for dallas offense..run stuffed, penalties, and a punt

lets go henry

Not one player stepped up a la Jason Peters when DeVonta or Slay got hurt because of late hits. Where are the guys who want to fight and defend their teammates?

The Saints boat raced the Cowboys in Dallas.

We just beat them in NO.

I like that point of reference.

There’s nothing bitter about a W. Sirianni isn’t the enemy. Whose side are you on?

He's not? Sure felt like he was playing the villain during the game

Nice block for Lamar.

What fiasco?  He blocked the player closer to the punter.

Seemed hard to assign blame on that play. Briefly saw the replay, no sound. It's not much relevant to to my point though.

Mailata may have if Lane wasn't already sidelined.

I am thinking that Lurie questioned Siri's lack of aggressiveness on Monday.  He didn't pass on any aggressive decisions.

There is aggressiveness, and there is recklessness.   Nick's decisions today were largely reckless.  4th and 1 with 14 seconds left and 1 timeout, you are losing, you are on the road, you are short your top WR, your RT and RG, and you get the ball coming out of halftime.  Take the points.   Then after the half, he was chasing the points he didn't get before the half.   Again... take the points to tie the game.  If its 13-6, instead of 7-6, he punts rather than going for the stupid 60 yard FG.  That smacked of desperation, chasing points that he gave away.  Give the defense that was balling out all day more field to work with to hold the lead.   Instead he got stupid aggressive... because he was stupid aggressive all day.   There's a happy medium.

One where he got a sack and then was on the sideline or out of every other big play.

They should be 3-0 and lucky they aren’t 0-3. I have no idea what this team even is.

2023.  They are 2023.

Definitely not the Eagles Saints game then.

I think, through 3 games, Blankenship has been pretty decisively superior to CJGJ.

I agree.  And its not even close.  CJGJ has made one play.  That's all.  Blankenship has made multiple.

Cowboys defense might just suck

You’re confusing carter and Davis…alcohol and the manic swings of watching this team does that.

and they will get the ball to start the half

They're first 11 games 2023 without the SB appearance bravado. Moore and Fangio will save them from the back third experience we got last year, but we are in for a year of new gray hairs.

so much for parson's prove it talk

Jalen Carter, I’m sure. He was chomping at the bit most the game.

Otherwise, a bunch of entertainers out there who didn’t take it personally.

I wonder if the eagles will ever look at Nolan Smith to play ILB?

You need to play him as an OLB to see if he can gain the strength to rush the passer, but if not, I think he could be pretty darn good inside. He has the speed to chase people down sideline to sideline and in theory should be able to cover better than most ILBs with his athleticism.

They tried that last year…it was worse than you can imagine.

He was coaching like he was trying to help the Saints.

Yup. CJGJ needs to be a slot corner. That’s his best position. I wonder when brown comes back if they start moving CJGJ into the slot more and brown on the field at safety. Then again not sure what brown is nor if when he comes back he’s ready.

He was chasing points his QB left on the field.

If you are going to use analytics, you need to marry analytics.  They predict likelihoods, not outcomes.  The players need to execute a little better. IMO.
