Jalen Carter, I’m sure. He was chomping at the bit most the game.

Otherwise, a bunch of entertainers out there who didn’t take it personally.

Davis played pretty well.

He got a sack and was invisible most of the game.  Dean had a few ‘highlights’ too.

Hats off to Goedert. We needed him to produce today, and he stepped up.

They're first 11 games 2023 without the SB appearance bravado. Moore and Fangio will save them from the back third experience we got last year, but we are in for a year of new gray hairs.

Talent wise this team (particularly offense) if they stay healthy has 11-12 wins. How they are coached from sirianni and just the mistakes that they make they are closer to a 9-10 win team.

They will not go 10-1 this year.  That was dumb luck last year.  And they will likely keep it together without the wheels falling off in the back stretch.  So, game to game, we'll have the same wild, maddening, inexplicable swings.  But we won't see the long extended winning and losing streaks of last year.  Headed to the same destination...playoffs without making much noise while there.

He was in those piles of players jamming the NO run game at the LOS.  When a team is effective against the run, the DTs are a big reason.

You’re confusing carter and Davis…alcohol and the manic swings of watching this team does that.

Nah man, not getting confused at all. You should cut back on the drinking if its causing you that much of an issue.

I love Jalen Carter talking trash after the game. They played dirty and tried to hurt our players. He was understandably probably really mad about it.

Man, I was wrong.   Thought NO would score 40 on us.  What a win.

Good= defense and win

Bad= Refs- missed the head to head targeting on Smith, Hurts with 6 turnovers in 3 games, Sirianni coaching to lose rather than win.

He got cooked on his lone play, turned inside out.  Carter showed up for 4 quarters though.  The rest (Davis, Dean and Smith) maybe had about 3 plays between them?

I thought Davis did a nice job clogging the middle, as is his role.   And he did have a nice fall on top of Carr for a sack.   I give Carter an A for today, and Davis I'd likely give a B, maybe B+.   Dean isn't getting done for me.  D, maybe D+ given the overall improvement of the defense this week.  And Smith... I don't think he made the wrong play on the blocked punt.  He had two men to block, and chose the inside guy.  Maybe he could have tried to slow them both up by pushing his left arm out to try to slow up the edge rusher.  But he did make the tackle after the block.  D.

"Invisible" lmao. He's a run stopping tackle, he had a sack and the Saints ran for less than 90 yards.

JD did his job. Dean lacks the speed to get to the sideline on outside runs, he needs to sniff them out pre-snap.

He was chasing points his QB left on the field.

If you are going to use analytics, you need to marry analytics.  They predict likelihoods, not outcomes.  The players need to execute a little better. IMO.

Analytics said to kick the FG instead of going for it on 4th with 13 seconds left in the half - with only 1 TO left.  It was over 80%

I am ok with the one at the end of the half.  Still early in the game.  Less than two yards.  You know that you're getting the ball at the beginning of the second half.

The second one was misguided.  Almost four yards.  Time to put point on the board,

The one at the end of the half gave you one more shot at the end zone.  Not enough reward for the risk.  Get points and get on the board.

Sirianni goes for it on 4th so much because he believes they can get it. He has faith they can pick it up.  I don't think it's arrogance like that Twitter guy says.

But he does need to start realizing it's OK to take 3 once in a while.

Honestly i don’t think he’s fallen off a cliff. They just don’t utilize him as much as they can because of smith, aj and barkley. I think coaches realized with Aj out (now smith) they need to use him more than they used covey. That can’t happen. I don’t think he’s a top 5 tight end but he’s clearly better than how he’s been utilized prior to this game. The frustration is we ar paying him good money and he’s been a forgotten man in this offense for much of 2023 and the first two games.

We won on the road against a playoff team while not having our best WR and OL.

No 2 ways about it, this was an awesome win.

With that said, Hurts’ turnovers are crippling and Siri’s stupidity is fatal.

We can’t compete for a title without at least fixing one of these issues.

lol touché.  We can agree to disagree here till we see All 22, to me he looked non existent outside of the sack. If he approaching about 50% of snaps then he gets credit for being that big guy taking up blocks.  I saw a lot of Ojomo, booker and Williams on the field though with carter most of the game.

Yep.  Even analytics said to kick the FG there

Well we best pray that Hurts starts making better decisions with the football then! Because you can’t learn not to be a clueless idiot.
