I saw a lot to like and they saved the season as much as that can be true in week 3. But Sirriani isn't smart and Hurts while making many nice throws is still is making bad decisions on occasion

Hats off to Goedert. We needed him to produce today, and he stepped up.

He had 7 catches on 9 targets the first 2 games.

10 catches on 11 targets today.  I don't know if he's a top 5 TE or whatever but he's good.  He needs the QB to look his way especially with AJ out.  Hurts did that today.

I do think today’s INT is as much, if not more so, on Smith. But yeah the turnovers are a real problem and he’s got to sort that out!

lol touché.  We can agree to disagree here till we see All 22, to me he looked non existent outside of the sack. If he approaching about 50% of snaps then he gets credit for being that big guy taking up blocks.  I saw a lot of Ojomo, booker and Williams on the field though with carter most of the game.

I get it, I still want to see more from him but think he played well today. I loved Ojomo and Davis out there at the same time with Carter and Williams on the ends. There's a lot of different looks they can give and think it will take some time for them to figure this rotation out.

While they played the run better using the 5 man front, they still need to figure out their issues they had with their 4 man.

Damn, 65 yarder.

It would have been good from 70. He's unreal.

Great move by Dotson is cause that collision.  He skinnied up through them

He was chasing points his QB left on the field.

If you are going to use analytics, you need to marry analytics.  They predict likelihoods, not outcomes.  The players need to execute a little better. IMO.

And yet the analytics said that kicking the FG was the move at the end of the half.   So... did he marry analytics or did he roll the dice stupidly?

Chasing points doesn't work.

Murray might be the best QB in the NFC. He has looked very good since he’s come back from injury,

Eagles Shock Saints in New Orleans.  Tatergeddon has been postponed, lol.

I think you mean hats off to coaching staff to change Goedert's routes to go lead outside since Hurts won't throw to the middle of the field

Awesome.   So, its not Moore's offense.   It is Moore's offense except for when Sirianni swoops in.

What do we even do moving forward?

It's clear Sirianni isn't the guy and it's clear Hurts will never be what he was in 2022.

We're in purgatory unless Fangio can miraculously turn this into the best defense in football and Saquon carries the ball successfully 30+ times a game and stays healthy.

He always starts off hot. Then gets banged up around midseason and finishes with a whimper. Been his MO. Add on some correlation with COD

Sirianni is such a problem! Not only is he an idiot during games and makes such bad decisions but… He takes responsibility and accountability in his press conferences and he seems like a really likeable guy.

Panthers up 14-7 over the Raiders on the road. Guess it was the QB holding them back.

The middle of the field does not exist.

I don’t know, I feel like they left it all on the f___d today.

Dude...we won the game.

They should be 3-0 and lucky they aren’t 0-3. I have no idea what this team even is.

Football. Supposedly professional

Sirianni goes for it on 4th so much because he believes they can get it. He has faith they can pick it up.  I don't think it's arrogance like that Twitter guy says.

But he does need to start realizing it's OK to take 3 once in a while.

He is absolutely out of control with it. Unless if you’re playing against Mahomes, he needs to start taking the points more often. It cost them last week and almost cost them today.

He will end up being the demise of this team. And deep down Lurie knows it. I would bet he’s regretting not moving on from him after these first three weeks. The team has enough talent to win 10-12 games on that alone, but they don’t have the brains to make a deep run. Both at the head coach and QB position.

Honestly i don’t think he’s fallen off a cliff. They just don’t utilize him as much as they can because of smith, aj and barkley. I think coaches realized with Aj out (now smith) they need to use him more than they used covey. That can’t happen. I don’t think he’s a top 5 tight end but he’s clearly better than how he’s been utilized prior to this game. The frustration is we ar paying him good money and he’s been a forgotten man in this offense for much of 2023 and the first two games.

Some were saying he lost a step - he looked as fast as he’s ever looked going down that sideline.  Kudos to him. What a game.

Makes no sense. How do we know that he’s not calling more plays - ie the wrong ones

That was a nicely designed play, and it might have been Dotson's biggest contribution so far.   He ran a great route on that and made sure to not take an OPI penalty.

It's still happening,  just tempered.

With Hurts, we are just stuck on this roller coaster.  I don't like being portrayed as a Hurts hater who wants him to fail so I can be right.  He's just the embodiment of everything I do not like in a QB in how he plays...and I'm not enjoying the ride.  But we are stuck on this ride for a while.  I don't know if Steichen is an offensive genius...moreso that he really synched up with Hurts nicely and his one-read comfort and did great things with him in 2022 before the league figured it out.  We heard all the rumblings about how they only had Hurts read half the field that year.

The rest of the offense is so stacked...we just have to bank on Moore and Hurts figuring eachother out enough to capture some of that.    I think they can make it better and get intermittently good results...but I just don't see how they truly compete for a SB again like in 2022 now that there is a blueprint on stopping this.

Well every prediction was the Saints would destroy us. If someone told the future last Mon night and said they will not have AJ and then in the game Lane, Becton, Smitty and Slay would all get hurt, and Hurts would have 2 turnovers you'd guess it would be a 70-0 game.

It was an ugly win nevertheless, and they need to show improvement and consistency. But they do have positives to take from it.

Not every prediction.  I picked the Eagles to win, as well as a few others.  I’ve been screaming for the offense to get Goedert involved; we see some results when it finally happens.

Almost unbelievable we could be sitting on 0 points into the 4th quarter with the defense playing as well as they were.  Hurts is a much bigger problem than Sirianni; Nick made a bad decision not kicking a FG and cost the team 3 points.  What on earth is Hurts’ excuse?  He’s costing the team much more right now.

The positives?  The defense, Goedert, Barkley saving Hurts with a long TD run to get the offense off of a bagel, Hurts at least didn’t try to run 15 times and finally was told to dial up Goedert.  Barkley, Goedert, and the Saints offense returning to the standard deviation got the Eagles the win.
