Kind of where I am at with this team.  Either they are going to get better or they won't.  Today was a step in the right direction for the defense at least.  Maybe Sirianni and Hurts can learn from their mistakes

All things considered.... we could be the Cowboys.  🤣

Brady offers nothing as a color commentator.  You’re paying him big money to give analysis other people can’t give.  He does none of that.

Must be nice to be able to waste hundreds of millions of dollars on someone like that.

Not blaming Brady at all.  If Fox is stupid enough to pay him that kinda money for something he's never done then more power to them.

Not a single, single person has said that it's easy to blow teams out or that it should happen each week. Jesus Christ. Seeing the very real and obvious issues with the team doesn't mean we expect a gimme each week.

We heard the same thing last year. I got crushed for saying exactly what I'm saying now during the Jets game.

Going back to last year has this teams coaching improved? It would seem as though it hasn't, though Fangio looked the part today. Is Hurts still turning the ball over more than just about everyone? Yes. Are we still taking stupid penalties? Yes.

People go on about "Eh, we won! Just clean up the mistakes!'' when it's been 21 games of the same crap.

Wake up.

I'm confused ... is this 2022 or 2023? I thought it was 2024.

All the chicken-littles got to say ITYS after last season and think that still has something to do with this season.

I so far have watched a team play through a lot of adversity through the 1st 3 weeks and never once did I see players quit or give up. There have been plenty of mistakes, but this team is showing heart and fight. I seriously doubt many of today's biggest critics even predicted the Eagles would beat the saints.

On a side note, I have to believe that at some point the NFL will have to start calling holding penalties committed by our opposing teams' offensive linemen. There's a limit to how many times you can turn a blind eye to this crap. Everybody is wondering where our sacks will come from --- once teams have to actually block Jalen Carter legitimately, they will fail.

Who had Steelers and Vikings 3-0 on their bingo card? NFL is wild.

I'm good with Dawk correcting my line of thinking

The only issue I have with Dawk's line of thinking is that this is Sirianni's 4th year?   Shouldn't he be smarter than he showed today, especially given that he has less on his plate regarding the offense now?

The offensive and defensive growing pains, I get.   The coach still being a bonehead, and dare I say, getting MORE boneheaded?   That was unexpected in Year 4.

Go Ravens

Brady sounds like my farts

The fishbowl media in Philly has decided that Sirianni is the scapegoat and they won’t give it up until there’s blood in the water.  I watched the first two minutes of the postgame show and it was all "fry Sirianni” — after a win — while Jalen Hurts gets a free pass for getting the offense 0 points to the 4th quarter, until Barkley picks him up and carries him on his back.

Get used to it.  It’s gonna be this way all season.

Hurts' turnovers were bad.   Sirianni's decision making was inexcusable.   Hurts' bad decisions are made with giant men chasing after him trying to crush him.   Sirianni's are made from the safety of the sidelines and were, sorry to say, obvious.  You need POINTS to win games.  He chose to ignore points a week removed from doing the exact same thing and having it bite him in the ass.

The blame for the 0 points you point out for Hurts falls in the lap of the decisions made by Sirianni.   If they kick a FG before the half, that narrative goes away.  If they kick a FG right after the half, they actually have a lead in the 3rd quarter.  Sorry, it was more Sirianni than Hurts.  Barkley put BOTH of them on his back, after he was completely ignored for the vast majority of the first half... which again goes back to coaching.

I think Dallas needs to change cleats at half, maybe that’ll help…get out of these things:

He's basically a rookie. New OC and DC, that's a lot to work with.

What a stiff arm by Henry, holy cow

I want to lick Erin Andrews

That’s not an excuse for making bone head decisions that most HCs get right

He should include Sirianni in that conversation

There's the Henry stiff arm

They’re 2-1 after playing a neutral site game on a crap field and going into New Orleans, where they very seldom win.  We’ll have to take it.  Lots of people are still bent out of shape after a bad loss last week, and most assumed the Eagles would get blown out this week.  They get a good (not great) win and fans and dreadful Philly media clowns are still not happy.  Mike Schmidt had the Philly media culture pegged almost 50 years ago, and it hasn’t changed.

Are there areas that need improvement?  Of course.  The head coach needs to get back to more conventional decisions and scale back the hyper-aggressiveness.  The QB needs to further develop his skills in getting everyone involved and eliminating the bad turnovers.  The coaches need to continue to install their systems and getting the players coached up.

Take the good.  The Eagles will be leading the division alone over the Turds, who look like they have REAL problems.

I think what's so infuriating is how efficient the offense could be with even hurts just being a game manager

F Turner for that dirty hit but F the refs more for not whistling it dead 5 seconds earlier.

King Henry has returned to his throne.

Does the OC or DC matter when you see 4th and 1 with 14 seconds on the clock before half to say "Field Goal"?    He should be able to do the math that says, even a conversion means you have one shot at the end zone, even if you convert the 4th down.

He remains a man amongst boys out there, especially when he's running free in the secondary.

That should be a suspension, IMO.  "Player safety"

Spitting on a player should be automatic ejection and suspension.  Just like punching.  There's no place for that in sports.
