And get the magic number for a bye down to 2 games.

lol, they couldn't censor Lamar in time.

Did Lamar just say the Ravens had people "on suicide watch"?

Just how we drew it up. That said seattle got broncos at home in nix first ever game, New England (who’s likely going to be very bad) and dolphins without Tua. Their schedule gets much tougher got lions in Detroit next week

Huff and Smith are truly getting isolated by TE's while the RT looks to take on a different assignment.  Do you have any idea how difficult that makes it for the rest of the defense to match up?

We've all noticed botched plays where a TE picks up the edge...or plays that are going in the other direction where they do it by design.  And, sure, sometimes the edge does a disappointing job eating up that TE.  But it's a rarity and the offense generally doesn't seek it out.  Teams are choosing to attack this defense with these blocking assignments because OC's are noting that the Huff/Smith combo does not justify an offensive lineman.  It's kind of remarkable.

Wow - Rojas almost had him

😂 @Lamar "some guys were on suicide watch”…not the best answer, but hey, call it like you see it, let the Karen’s worry about it.

If Howie can make a trade for an above average pass rushing DE I'd be fine overpaying.

I tried to watch Huff as much as I could take and I noticed that as well. It’s embarrassing to watch him get locked up by a tight end. It’s why they upped Graham’s snaps today and he held his own.

It’s looking dire at that position. I would think Ngakoue will be the desperation mid year signing this year like Leonard was last year. But I don’t know how much that helps.

Howie's midseason trades for anyone...especially defensive players....have been underwhelming, to say the least.

More Ojomo and Booker

Less Smith and Huff

Please

Yeah I can’t believe they can’t manage to score with both Tyreek Hill and Waddle - just goes to show you can have a ton of talent on offense but if you don’t have a QB, you’re not winning

Not to diminish TE #! or RB#1, Steen and Johnson get my vote as players of the game.

I would say the TE with 170 yards takes it lol.

I see things wrong all the time.  And even if there is more to it that I/we are missing, even terrible snaps happen.  But NFL coaches generally don't like to pursue tradition-defying mismatches like TE/edge matchups.  Seeing two teams do it now in consecutive weeks is so damning, even worse than seeing him get locked up by a TE.  It demonstrates how pathetic the opposing coaches think he is.

"There" meant TNF not @ Cowboys.

Dang it, I was watching the Lions locker room speech waiting on Dan Campbell to start crying again…what a disappointment.

People "like me" gripe because of the issues with the team. What about that is hard to grasp? It has nothing to do with hoping to be wrong and everything to do with the slop they have continued to put on the field.

Last season was a mess. The biggest collapse we have ever seen in the NFL. An embarrassment that carried into the playoffs while we let Baker Mayfield and the Bucs dismantle us one last time on national television.

We kept hearing the same tired lines about "keeping the main thing the main thing" and heard all about how they needed to learn from things. Everyone (almost) and their brother wanted Sirianni gone. Hurts had 20 turnovers. We kept hearing about how maybe they should've played starters in the preseason.

Fast forward to this season, when we heard much of same all off-season. There were rumors out about how fractured the relationship with Hurts and Sirianni was. We still didn't play starters in preseason. Sirianni still makes dumb decision after dumb decision. Hurts already has six turnovers by making many of the same dumb mistakes.

They're still commiting the same dumb penalties. They're still having too many illegal men down field. They're still running the same stupid screens. They're still using the same tired quotes.

It has nothing to do with being negative in hopes I'm proven wrong. It has nothing to do with them losing a football game. It has everything to do with the same dysfunctional team showing the same dysfunctional traits 20+ games later.

If they played a good game fairly regularly and came up short, that sucks, but that's how it goes. To continue to make the same dumb mistakes week in and week out is why "people like me" are angry. They're paid millions of dollars and can't figure out that Hurts continually makes the wrong read with RPOs or that you should take obvious points.

There is no excuse after that abortion that was last season to continue to make the SAME mistakes.

So again, no, you're not comprehending.

This IS NOT 2023 anymore.

The issues we had last year are typical issues. So it's no surprise that we see some of the same issues again at times this year. What are they supposed to do, come up with all-new issues to make you happy? At the end of the year, last season, other teams were playing better football than us and we lost. This season we might be one of the teams playing better at that point.

Last week we lost a game we were in position to win by: first, failing to execute a good play call vs the defense used; then, failing to get a stop on defense; and finally, failing to come from behind on the final drive.

What did we see today? Pretty much the opposite and players stepping up to win against a favored team on the road. Boo-freakin-hoo.......
