People are dumb. As I said, its been Hurts holding him back. It only took Hurts his 2 starting WRs, and his new favorite target Covey ALL getting hurt for him to finally start seeing his star TE. And look what he can still do. Amazing.

He's a 1 read qb.  Goedert became read 1 and we saw what he was capable of...what some of us didn't realize he was still capable of.

So hard to believe he played so many years with the Rams and won a Super Bowl in NE before he got here.  He's 100% an Eagles player as a guy like Brent Celek who played every down for this team.

Seattle - wow

Why wow? Macdonald is gonna be a really good coach and his defense has some talent on it.

Relates to the city

Was looking at the box score - we had 460 yards of total offense today - how the heck we managed to only score 15 points is mind boggling.

Not really.  2 turnovers in opposition territory and refusing to take points twice.   The one redeeming thing for the offensive anemia when it came to getting points was the fact that while they were possessing the ball, the Saints couldn't score.

There's always the XFL/UFL or whatever it's called.

Does the CFL still exist?

Yes, and he could go there and play well like Doug Flutie did.

This is wild. Did they play the fight song too over the PA too? One thing that bothers me is that this game wasn't over until the last drive and after this play, Saquon only had 1 more carry. The play calling is still really head scratching.

Young will never play another snap as a Panther

Go KC. 🤢

This IS NOT 2023 anymore.

The issues we had last year are typical issues. So it's no surprise that we see some of the same issues again at times this year. What are they supposed to do, come up with all-new issues to make you happy? At the end of the year, last season, other teams were playing better football than us and we lost. This season we might be one of the teams playing better at that point.

Last week we lost a game we were in position to win by: first, failing to execute a good play call vs the defense used; then, failing to get a stop on defense; and finally, failing to come from behind on the final drive.

What did we see today? Pretty much the opposite and players stepping up to win against a favored team on the road. Boo-freakin-hoo.......

You're still getting hung up on the wrong details, but that's fine.

Have a good night

I totally agree. Hurts head never moves on a swivel. 1 read and done. How many open wide receivers missed today?

So nice to see him finally doing that in the right uniform.

It’s a shame because there are so many viable options in this offense between AJ, DeVonta, Goedert, Saquon, and now Dotson. It’s a treasure chest of tools to work with but Hurts will be the one to hold it back. We begged them to surround McNabb with half of this talent, Wentz was throwing to janitors in 2019 and 2020, and now they finally have the guys but not the quarterback. I’ll always root for Hurts as long as he’s the QB of this team, but it’s becoming apparent that he has fatal flaws.

They borderline need to do what the Titans did with Henry and run that similar style with Barkley. Have Hurts hit some slants, take the occasional deep shot, and make plays with his legs. They can still play winning football that way. But they need to admit to themselves that Hurts isn’t who they want him to be and they’ll never do that. He feels like a ticking time bomb and the more you put the game in his hands, the more likely a turnover is right around the corner.

I always said a 2 read and speed and he is slowing down. Am hoping with Moore, there will be progression on that front....so far I think it's 3 total tds and 6 total turnovers...

Man this sucks. If he goes to the draft, the perfect buy low LB for Howie if he drops because of injury.

Looked like they got the 1st on 3rd down but were short on 4th.

I know he gets paid enormous amounts, but my god it must suck living out of a hotel room

Justin Simmons with the pick in the end zone

Clint Hurtt was hilarious holding Carter back on the sideline. You could tell he loved the trash talk but he had to be the responsible one telling Jalen to chill.

Time to give Baker what’s coming.

And to figure out for real if we fixed the blitz pickups

majomes with yet another pick in the end zone.

Kid is a freak and believe at one point LSU tried to us him at DE.

Feels good to have a backup RT. Now the game isnt over when Lane gets hurt. And, we dont really need to worry about drafting it in the 1st round next draft. We can take a DE.

Well, the long term position needs:

QB: for better or worse, we are stuck on the Hurts roller coaster until the ride stops.  So scratch this one off.

Edge: Basically, almost all of their resources this offseason will go into edge.  Probably a 1st round trade up to get a better one, then drafting another on day 2.

TE:  Goedert may have not so quietly allayed concerns about his premature demise, but he's still old and we still have 0 TE depth.  A TE of the future who doubles as TE2 of the present is on the menu for this offseason.

RT: Going to have to continue to fly by the seat of their pants on this one, due to lack of resources.  Between Johnson 2, another year of duct-taping Lane together, and maybe even Bechton, RT will have to go unaddressed this offseason.
