CJGJ has been responsible for badly losing his man in coverage on TD's in 3 straight games now, lot of talk about Huff, but CJGJ is quietly having a disaster of a season too, His one stand out play was stuffing Bijan in the Atlanta game and he almost negated that taking his helmet off, he somehow managed to convince the Refs it came off naturally.

I'd rather he covered his receiver consistently than run his mouth off.

The replay's all showed his helmet starting to come off on it's own from the play, he just finished the job. The TV ref even explained the rule that since the helmet started to come off, there could be no foul for that...there is no need to make that play out to be some failing of CJGJ, he's done enough of that himself.

Did people just not watch last season? Stop bringing up these rankings, they don't mean ish. That 2nd best offense got shut out for 3 quarters yesterday.

I can't believe someone watched that game yesterday and thinks the offense is fine.

Nick's decision to go for it on 4th down instead of a fg. QB1 throwing another int in the end zone... that's 10 points right there. Maybe another 3 points if the great QB1 doesn't fumble

That had to be a great feeling for Barkley

I can't remember a FA signing that has missed this big since Sconce Maxwell

The sconces thing was Cary Williams I thought.

Oh wow. That kills our return game.

Can't automatically give 7 to the int in the endzone, I'd say it's 6 points for sure.

But yes, Huff is giving off very Maxwell vibes.

beat me to it, shouldve kept reading

Yes, we are moving the ball effectively.

We are second in yards, but only 11th in points.

Points win games.

Points will come. If you are moving the ball, you are going to score.

You, and many others, are worrying about short-term variance.

If you move the ball and stop other teams from moving the ball, you are going to win football games. We have the first part of the equation down. Now we need the second part.

I think Shipley has the tools to be good there.

Better than textbook on how to take on a block. To take that hit, throw it off, keep your balance and still make the tackle is unreal.

6 10 doesn't matter. Points were left out there for the 2nd consecutive game

Huff has been a disaster, but I still wonder if he's being used properly. How do you go from the #1 pressure rate in the NFL last season to like worst this season?

And before people go "Maybe last year was a fluke" ok maybe, but people were starting to wonder if Dallas Goedert was shot because he wasn't producing and as it turns out they just for some insane reason weren't giving him the ball or using him right.

Oh look he can talk. Too bad the only way to get his message across is to swear.

In contrast, this is how you coach.

I don't think it has any impact at all. DeJean will be fine at PR. The new "dynamic" kickoff is a disaster. Here I thought it would force teams to kick in to the field of play. NOPE, we'll keep kicking it through the endzone and give them the 30.

26 turnovers in his past 21 games.

Short-term variance?

On KRs if teams were smart theyd kick it to Gainwell on purpose. Hes never going to get near the 30. I guess theyre just afraid Shipley might catch it.

I remember the posts after week 1 in 2022 when Devonta didn't get any receptions.

He was going to play out his contract or ask for a trade.

Good times...

Quinyon has been incredible.

If he learns how to catch, he's a Pro Bowler.

And has 2 TDS at least already

Are we talking about points or turnovers?

If you want to change the discussion, we can do that.

But we were talking about offensive production.

But if you want to talk about turnovers, we can do that.

Google turnover worthy plays. Hurts is certainly not an outlier in that category compared to Josh Allen and Patrick Mahomes, which are his direct comps.

To be fair the TE tripped on the OL and was already going down, Baun just finished him

Baun has been good though.

I don't think the Eagles will fire Sirianni during the season. I think it requires too much shuffling of the coaching staff. Nussmeier would have to move to OC, they'd have to find a new QB coach, etc. Assuming Moore gets the job, which he almost assuredly would be made interim HC.

And I don't think it's fair to Moore to put all those responsibilities on his plate. He's focused on calling plays, scheming his offense. All of a sudden you put HC duties on his plate. I think it's too much of a dramatic overhaul to do during a season, I don't think Lurie will do it.

A comparison of explosive plays from yesterday.  More than offset the turnover differential.
