You can’t play on that, as Richard Sherman found out.  Niners will bring him back early and give him 30 touches per game.

Sure, all those things were also dumb. Lurie himself said Nick needs to reign himself in. Nick acknowledged it too. I wouldn’t be surprised if Lurie said "enough of this sideline ish” to everyone.

I'm a little surprised how strong your take is on this.  I agree Nick was a clown show but it's a little different, he's a coach, Carter was still in the heat of battle....

Squaring up to a fan like Shaq Lawson last year, I'd say that's where I draw my line.  Jawing at fans from the bench, meh, to me it's all in good fun.

Its almost like the coaches made it more of a spectacle than it needed to be.

Right will, but no one will WANT to remember it and theyll just be calling me a troll.

The shoe fits

Curtis Samuel has a decent role with the Bills.

I don’t think I have a strong take at all on it. If no one truly cares, then I agree with the "who cares” of it all.  It got to a point people with authority over him did care. Whether they were justified in caring or not is a different debate. Once people that matter start to care you can’t just say "who cares?” anymore. Thats all I’m saying.

I one of think he’s going to be out til after their bye. A chance even then it’d still not right. He has a ton of wear especially from last year. What happened when he was with the panthers.

They'd easily get 2 TO's off QB1

How the heck are the Vikings 3-0?

Darnold is crushing it, and their D looks like a Top 5 unit.

Crazy turnaround for them.

Doug was only good with elite coordinaters. Keeping Press Taylor was his downfall

You think he needs a play sheet in front of him to tell Moore to run the Tush Push counter to Barkley?   Tush Push is Sirianni's baby.  He'll never forget that play.

And doubled down a couple times in today's PC about how it was his play call.  Sure, he might be covering for Moore, but he's doing a really good job of jumping on that bullet, irregardless, the decision to go for it there was just stupid irrespective of the specific play call.  And there's no getting around the fact that it was his call to go for it on 4th down.

I agree with everything you're saying.

But we still don't know for certain he called that particular play.  The play is in the play book.  It can be used anytime.  It's not just Sirianni that can call it.  Maybe Jalen called it or audibled to it.  Maybe Sirianni did call it.

But yes we should have taken the 3.  He feels the offense can pick up any 4th and short.  Maybe he needs to make sure they can execute it consistently first before he goes for it all the time.

Some said Shanahan helped unlock him last year just couldn't play him

Doug really hitched his wagon to Press Taylor again and it’s going to cost him another job.

You I guess.

Whatever you posted has nothing to do with anything either so I don’t know what point you keep trying to make.

This is why I’m not too worried about his INTs nearly as much as his fumbles.  INTs are going to be thrown.  He needs to be more aware of his surroundings when he has the ball

My interpretation of it is that it’s Nick’s call to go for it or not on 4th, but it’s Moore with the play call and then Hurts with the ability to audible at the line if he sees something. Like he did on the Goedert big play when he read man to man after motioning Barkley, which turned out to be a great call.

People are reading too much into Nick saying it was his call. He’s protecting Moore the same way he did Johnson last year. He’s not going to throw his guys under the bus, and Lurie knows that so he’s covered. I think more people need to read between the lines with that.

Dougie P isn't going to last the season at this rate.
