They had the worst defense in the NFL in 2023 and their moved on defense were: trading Reddick, signing Huff, signing Baun, signing CJGJ, signing Burks. I’m sorry that’s just awful. I think the draft was solid though I’ll give him that.

I am not sure I disagree with the decision to trade Reddick because the other option was to sign him to a big money deal.  On the other hand, there's a fair argument that he would have been worth the money. Huff was a signing where the analytics outweighed the scouting. We should probably blame Julian Lurie.  

Baun was a decent signing.  Devin White was a bad signing and there were other options available.  CJGJ was meh and he has not looked good.  

At least they're still swinging.

By they, I mean mostly Barkley. Still rubs me the wrong way that he's laughing with the Bucs down 24-0, but at least he's still carrying us.
