Sure, the defense and the other blunders (fumble of punt return) were the main reason for the loss, but when Hurts had the chance to get this game close (who knows how it would have ended then) he failed miserably. He was also a big part of the problem in crunch time.

And Sirianni and that stupid Fangio defense should be out ASAP!

Missed an easy TD early, the fumble, dumb decisions in the pocket.  Hurts is 1/3 of the issue.  D, Coach and Hurts are all equally responsible.

I think Hurts is still salvageable. However, that's just not happening with Nick Sirianni.

Have to fire Nick and find out for sure.

I don’t think so at this point. You can’t keep blaming coaches for the play of Hurts. He should have evolved by this point in his career and he keeps making the same boneheaded mistakes he has always made. No, that’s on him.
And I wanted to believe that Hurts was the "guy” and really have said much negative about him. It’s just obvious that he is what we though he was.

Jalen Hurts.....

It’s sad that Dotson was brought in to be the three, Smiyh and Brown both get hurt and he doesn’t see a target until the fourth quarter. He’s Julio Jones all over again.

What are the cap implications if Hurts is traded? Feel like they can get something for him.

Injuries suck and are unfortunate, but last week they had injuries and the defense played great and the offense managed to be effective.

There is a problem with the team's preparation, practice, mindset, game planning, play calling and decision making. That starts with Siri. Hurts has regressed for 2 seasons now. Moore was supposed to save the offense, granted he doesn't have the 2 top receivers. But this is going to get uglier when they play the strongest teams.

Thank god for SB52

They only scored 1 td in half then the blocked 2 xpat return for a td brought it to 16-30..What did they turn back on when their last 3 points was from Hurt's fumble?

They were down 10 and immediately went 70 yards for a TD while killing off like 6 minutes in response. Once they were up 17 they once again just went through the motions to the end the game. Point is the Eagles defense was never good this game. Game flow and situations make it look like they had a good second half but they didn’t at all. Tampa could have ran the score up if they wanted to.

I'll take a 7th rd pick for him

I agree. Last week they were good. This week not at all

More hurts than anyone tbh. He looks for 1 player the whole game.. after that read is covered he takes a sack or just throws it away

Packers down 31-29 with 56 seconds left

He loves taking sacks. More so to the chin

Devils advocate…Hurts actually sets and hits the easiest slam dunk wheel route ever to Barkley and it’s a completely different game.  The D got a few stops when needed.  The TOP difference was insane on a day where heat is an issue.

And this is where the term coach killer gets born.

The Eagles already did that.  Kellen Moore is running the offense.  Sirianni is here because Lurie didn’t want the PR of firing another coach.

Siri was already fired.  Siri is in charge as much as Desai was in charge of the defense for the second half of last year (still held the title too).

100%.

Game script matters. They shut it down.

Yea, it was by far the worst defensive showing all season. At least against GB and Atlanta they had some good situational moments, particularly red zone, which helped keep them in the game. They got the brakes beat off them today on the first drive and never responded at all.

One thing is also very obvious IMO, this is not a team that plays complimentary football at all. Didn’t last year and the same can be said this year. It’s always one or the other side that blows it… or wait, they do compliment each other when they both play badly like today.

They were outcoached. Tampa saw they rarely play man and hit a lot of quick passes.  Also the fact that the DEs stink is a constant prolbme

This defense is young, learning, and has a new DC. The offense is loaded and led by a 5th year QB that just got paid top 5 money.

I expect defensive disappointment this season. How they are being used as an excuse to cover for the inexcusable failure of the offense is beyond reason.

Been wholly unimpressed with Moore. He was supposed to make a tangible difference and he has not. EVerything looks the same.

You have to wonder why we've had 3 OCs and yet the offense always looks the same

Just for the sake of argument, the offense is less loaded when AJ, Devonta & Lane aren't playing.  Not making an excuse but that does at least have to factor into argument

They still have 2 former 1st round picks and 2 2nd rounders out there at WR and TE with those 2 out.
