Just for the sake of argument, the offense is less loaded when AJ, Devonta & Lane aren't playing.  Not making an excuse but that does at least have to factor into argument

That's soft AF. If your offense can't function at all with injuries then tough questions need to be asked.

They still have 2 former 1st round picks and 2 2nd rounders out there at WR and TE with those 2 out.

Who cares where they were picked especially by other teams? They aren't in the same conversation as AJ & Devonta.  Mind you that doesn't excuse Hurts not getting rid of the ball but it does make the reality of the O talent much less

Sad thing is Jalen hurts is gonna get a pass for this game no lane Johnson no AJ Brown no Devonta Smith.

I’m done with him. The league has figured him out.

You have to wonder why we've had 3 OCs and yet the offense always looks the same

Didn’t under Steichen

To a degree but there’s no reason why he should be looking like he’s never played football before when you take away one or two of his weapons. I think deep down Howie knows that Hurts is always going to need to be surrounded by elite players on every front between receivers, RB, and line. He doesn’t elevate anyone else or makes anyone better. He’s reliant on AJ and DeVonta who would be great players with any other QB.

DG wasn’t picked by the Eagles?

This defense is young, learning, and has a new DC. The offense is loaded and led by a 5th year QB that just got paid top 5 money.

I expect defensive disappointment this season. How they are being used as an excuse to cover for the inexcusable failure of the offense is beyond reason.

The DC is new, but the system is most likely exactly the same. There are some promising players, but for the most part it’s the same trash and joke of a defense we had last year. Actually the d-line is worse, which is even more troubling.

The offense should be better, but the limitations of Hurts don’t allow an offense efficient offense.

That Herbert throw just now... Holy crap.

Hurts will get most of the blame, but the defense was the biggest problem.

All week all I heard from the D is that they were going to get after Baker because he holds the ball trying to extend plays.

So what do the Bucs do on offense?quick passes all game limiting the time the DL has to get to the QB

Stupid stuff by the D.

Was Glad to see Doctson step up.

If he continues this pace of 2 catches for 11 yards in the 4th quarter hell finish season with 26 catches and 143 yards...💪😒

Not sure how you can stomach watching other games after what we just saw.

Imagine if he had AJ and Devonta. Hell or even Barkley and Goedert. He'd put up more then 14 points

Hurts is just not fun to watch.

He's been a full time starter now 4 years and has had 1 good year.  Are you telling me Steichen is the only coach that can bring out his full potential?   I seriously doubt it.  I'm starting to think 2022 was just the stars aligning for everyone.

It's nice to watch actual qb play

Missed tackles was the biggest issue with the D IMO. A lot can be said about DB’s playing up more…but it comes down to missed tackles.  I also think Dean is lost orchestrating the D.

Dotson, Goedert, and Barkley are still there to throw to. Even have Barkley to run the ball with. It's why people say the offense is stacked with talent. It shouldn't have taken such a nosedive. Game plan sucked

Because that was expected especially after atl/NO

Not surprised at all especially with Hurts seemingly trying to set a turnover record

Again, in 22 the first half of the season he was incredibly inconsistent too.

The Eagles are a .500 team with a roughly league average starting qb.  No better no worse.  They are a bit too good for sweeping changes, but not good enough for competitive optimism.

Its purgatory.

Mahomes throws an INT, the returner FUMBLES it, then KC recovers.

I'm convinced of that now. Hurts can still throw a pretty ball now and then, but his decision making, turnovers, and slow ass running are way over shadowing that now. Hurts has quickly become an average at best player.

I’d argue the talent at WR today was that of 2020. The oline was likely better or equal too 2020. Rb definitely better out there. We can keep sugarcoating it or we can have the actual discussion that the amount of fumbles that Jalen hurts has and the amount turnovers is a massive problem. This is the crap people lost their mind about in 2020 with Carson wentz. Bad decisions and turnovers where he fumble at least two or three times again. That’s happening now.

The reason why they’ve been able stay in games even with the turnovers is due to the talent on the roster on offense can overcome a lot. When it doesn’t have it you get today along with a bad defense.

we are a quarter of the way through the season. the reality is he still making too many poor decisions, turning it over and fumbling it just like he was doing last year. Even with some of his great plays, the negatives are adding up and hurting them every week. That wasn’t sustainable to win a Super Bowl and be a top tier team last year. We still have 13 more games but he’s looking closer and closer to 2023 version.

As if the chiefs ref bias couldn’t get any more corrupt the chargers recover a fumble they rule it for the chargers and they literally just say nah it’s going to ghe chiefa

I’ve held out and will still give him this entire season to see how he develops in a real offense.

But, the fact that we still aren’t sure that he’s the guy is relevant.

If the commanders had pass defense they likely could runaway with the division.
