That doesn’t matter if he doesn’t even care that they’re on the field.  The talent the O fielded today is light years better than 20.

Yeah I’d argue the talent was better today than 2020. Not sure I’d say light years besides RB. WRs both stink. Te is about the same. OL better on the left side today but right side just as bad when lane got hurt and having to start herbig at RG. Either way hurts was basically wentz out there in 2020. Fumbling the ball and bad decisions.

Maybe Moore wasn't fine in Dallas and they fired him for a reason and them getting better last year after he left was for a reason. And the Chargers didn't want to bring him back for a reason.

Moore’s offense in Dallas was ranked 1st and 4th his last two seasons there.

How come we never see the qb coach or oc just rip into hurts? Like I'm tired of seeing him just sitting on the sidelines smiling after he made a mistake

I don’t care what they do with him on game day, there is obviously zero accountability in film review during the week with him.

Look, I get its coach speak and he’s not going to throw Hurts under the bus. But how are the other 52+ players going to take this quote? Especially when one of the "core values” is accountability.

What a joke.

I’d argue the chargers cleaned house and fired everyone. Their offense wasn’t an issue until Herbert got hurt and they lost like every wide receiver besides Palmer last year.

Dallas fans disliked him because he was predictable and conservative.

It’s light years better, there’s no excuse for what we see out of Hurts.  Wentz at least went through progressions and threw the ball to the slop he had out there.  Hurts refuses to go past his 1st read.

Maybe it’s because they had really good players and he’s nothing special as a player caller. Lastyear’s Eagles offense was ranked highly and everyone thought Sirianni and Johnson were awful.

Fair, but he still produced and was statistically a top tier offense. I don’t think the guy just forgot how to coach offense. The one constant has always been Hurts so I think it’s fair to look in that direction.

What a joke.

Hurts is on a wentz trajectory for fumbles this year. Wentz had 16 fumbles in 2019. And 10 in 2020. Hurts had 9 last year. Has 5 already this year. He’s on pace for 21 this year.

Again better and I’m not justifying hurts playing like crap. I dont believe besides rb it’s light year better. that’s hyperbole that it’s light years better. Both had dogshit at WR. Both dealing with injuries along the oline. Only place the eagles are light years better today than 2020 is Barkley.

hurts needs to be better but i have a hard time arguing the talent out there today outside of RB is light years better

Hurts sucks.

Defense sucks.

Coaching sucks.

Not much more to discuss there.

Damn. I was hoping I could stay even with him on tackles all season.

What a joke.

I’m convinced that a good portion of AJs frustrations last year were based on Hurts play, but being a close friend he won’t say it.

My biggest fear for this season is that the rest of the team will eventually get tired and turn on Hurts if he keeps turning the ball over and wasting their efforts to try and win.

Hopefully Hurts does the right thing and changes numbers with him so we can keep count

The offense will obviously look better when AJ and DeVonta come back but I think it’s a fair question to ask regarding the long term if you want to constantly require elite talent around Hurts for him to look good. I get every QB needs talent around him, but he looks like he’s never played the position before when he loses one of his guys. It would have been nice to see him elevate some of the other guys today but he’s not capable of that.

Missed tackles was the biggest issue with the D IMO. A lot can be said about DB’s playing up more…but it comes down to missed tackles.  I also think Dean is lost orchestrating the D.

Yeah, im not a fan of Dean, hes never been good in coverage in a passing league and too many times seems to get engulfed by O line man.

Having said that the D line in front of the LBs has been so inconsistent week to week

I think this weak the heat and humidity played a role

Seems like the eagles were ill prepared for the elements in   Tampa.

When he’s not provided easy answers, he struggles.

The Chiefs are missing their top 2 WRs and #1 RB. They have the greatest QB of this generation. They have a top 5 playcaller.
4 drives. 0 punts. 2 turnovers (RB fumble, INT).

It's almost like the supporting cast matters.

They should have been used to the heat and humidity its been disgustingly hot and humid in PA all through July and august. Half the defense is from florida and Georgia they should of been prepared

Mahomes has been low key meh all season

That was the similar story last season then he turned it on during the playoffs

Hurts' struggles are not a one game sample this goes back to last season. Today's game is irrelevant when evaluating him.
