@D.WATSfromda757 what are you confused about with these 2 posts?

Saw that on Facebook. So embarrassing to try to use him as a comparison. Teams would still pick Mahomes over Hurts

I see those emojies all the time and then I see the screen name and feel bad for him because he's probably a Dakota Watson fan.

If it's true that Moore isn't running his offense and is running a version of Sirianni's offense, my hunch is that isn't Sirianni. That is a mandated offense from Howie and Lurie. Because if Moore truly was given full control of the offense, why wouldn't he implement his offense?

And if Howie and Lurie are meddling in what offense this team needs to run, we are in serious trouble. And if they aren't and Sirianni is still dictating the style, then just what in the F is going on? I thought Moore had total control?

The fact that these questions can even be asked is why this whole plan was asinine to begin with. Sirianni should have been fired. We all knew it back in January. But instead they tried to salvage what was clearly broken. And for what? To keep a head coach who gives you no competitive advantage. Lurie didn't have the balls to do what needed to be done, which is atypical from him.

The QB.....

Is the implication this is the only offense the QB can run?

If so, I don't buy it. Because this offense isn't working. And it didn't work last year. So why wouldn't Moore come into the season going we can't have success with last year's offense, I'm going to run my scheme and see how it goes? They haven't even tried.

And why would Moore take the job of a team with a QB who couldn't run his scheme? It would make him look bad for future head coaching opportunities.

All of these forced plays down field need to stop. Hurts needs to learn to take what the defense is giving him.

2-2 after the 1st month.  Should be 3-1, the Bucs game was a bad loss for sure.  The Bye week came the perfect time.   We have four teams with losing records coming after the bye week.  The Eagles must handle their own business.  The Bucs have our number recently.  It is what it is.  With that said, the one win they do have against the Bucs, AJ was playing.   Everyone must come back healthy.  Sadly the Birds have a terrible record when Lane doesn't play.  They also have a losing record when AJ doesn't play.  Throw in Devonta and the crazy heat after the hurricane and it was the perfect storm.   Thankfully nobody is really running away with it just yet outside of the Vikings who are 4-0. Everyone else in the NFC has at least one loss. (Seattle plays tonight).  Heal up, regroup and it's a 13 games season from there.

lol I didn’t know White actually responded and just dug his hole even deeper

What does Siri do, I will wait. Missing the forrest thru the trees.  Give me a real HC first for a year before throwing the QB away we just paid that has been to a SB and scored 4 tds in it.

Here's the sequence that sums up this team for me.

It's 24-0 in the 2nd quarter. The Eagles can't stop the Bucs and can't move the ball. They get the ball back with 7:18 to go in the half and put together a drive to score and make it 24-7. Bucs get the ball after the 2:00 minute warning and the Eagles FINALLY cause a 3 and out, they get the ball back at their 20 yard line with 1:14 on the clock.

1:14 with timeouts to use is an eternity in the NFL. You've been down 24 for almost the entire 1st half and you have a chance to cut the lead to 10. There's no reason to just say F it but these are the plays they call. A 13 second drive. 13 MF seconds. That's when I knew this game was over. This team is an absolute mess. The coaching, the QB, the defense. All of it.

1-10-PHI 20 (1:14) (Shotgun) J.Hurts pass incomplete short right to J.Wilson.

2-10-PHI 20 (1:10) (Shotgun) J.Hurts pass incomplete short right to K.Gainwell.

3-10-PHI 20 (1:07) (Shotgun) J.Hurts pass short left to P.Campbell to PHI 25 for 5 yards (L.David, J.Dean). Timeout #2 by TB at 01:01.

4-5-PHI 25 (1:01) B.Mann punts 47 yards to TB 28, Center-R.Lovato, out of bounds.

They should have gone with a high percentage pass to Barkley, OR... a running play to Barkley.   Yes, they needed points, but more importantly they needed to ensure that the Bucs didn't get the ball back with a chance to move into FG range.     The run lets you know how to handle the rest of the drive... are we killing the clock or being aggressive to try to score.   They had TONS of time and timeouts, incompletions were the enemy at that moment AND incompletions were also the norm for this offense yesterday.

BAD situational coaching....

Dotson, Campbell, and Ross talk about a trio of underachievers. 34 yards receiving between the 3 of them.

What’s amazing that might not even be the worst trio of eagles WRs we’ve seen in the last 5 years. I’d argue JJAW, reagor and Hightower was worse.

I can’t even remember who was with Greg Ward in 2019

Who would show him the door?

Was hoping to see some breaking news that siranni had been fired. So far, nothing

Hurts is not a bad player. I think he’s an average starter that becomes a good starter with great players around him. He’ll never be a QB that makes average WRs look better than what they are. We’ve seen that this team can go the distance if he has great personnel and coaching around him.

OK, let's try to find a positive. Give him more snaps.

Against this defense that’s not saying much

The coach is horrible

The QB isn't a QB

The defense is as bad as last year

Tune in on black Monday

My biggest issues with that game were:

1. the speed the Def allowed scores early. Yes there is an aspect of the O failing that contributes, but we knew we were without many pieces on O, the D had to force at least mostly FGs the first few so that the offense could get going.

2. The stupidly planned offense in the first quarter. Throw on 1st down every time for the first 3-4 drives, it was super scripted. Throw incomplete on 1st, run Saquon on 2nd when it was obvious and they would crash down and then deal with 3rd and long missing most of your 3rd down weapons and your biggest protector. We needed to be a run/play action offense to start off with IMO.

3. Sticking with wasn't working on D. We need to figure out schematic adjustments to keep the big lines like we have against the Saints, and go more man possibly. I don't really know, but sticking with the 3-4 man lines is not our strength.

On the other side, I didn't see much giving up like we did last year, even down as much as we were, the team was still trying.

Sorry that it's ESP, but all he's doing is breaking down the play. It's RIGHT THERE. Make an NFL caliber throw. The only thing I disagree with ESP on is that he says the Eagles needed Hurts to be special. No, the Eagles need Hurts to be a competent NFL QB. Make the reads, make good throws.

Just so we are clear... that wasn't a 'special' type throw for Hurts to make.   That's the type of throw that any middle of the road NFL starting QB should be able to make.
